I am so glad my husband and I decided to visit Gig Harbor. We were pleasently surprised to drive up to the Best Western and find it so cute! It looks like it belongs in the quaint small town. Check in was great. Our room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bathroom were nice. The first night there our neighbor was extremely loud. He was coughing and clearing his throat very loudly and the tv was blarring. This all went on until about midnight, I guess I finally fell asleep. Then at 6:00 a.m. the tv turned back on and we could hear it clear as day. I called the next morning to inquire about our neighbor to see if he was maybe checking out that day. She said that he was staying another night and management called back to offer us another room. She was very appologetic even though it wasn't the hotels fault. We were so happy that they listened to us though. Our new room was also fantastic. Much quieter since we didn't have neighbors.
I did have to get a cable to get my computer to connect. Not sure if that is normal but I checked one our from them then it worked fine.
Nice Vizio tv's in the room hanging on the walls. The beds were comfy and all around a fantastic hotel. We would stay here again if we go back that way.
If you are in Gig Harbor we Highly recommend dinner at Brix. Call and make a reservation about 3:00 or so because they are busy. Try the Beef Bourguignon if you love beef. It is to die for. If you go tell Jason that Daren and Heidi said you have to eat there. Fantastic package with the hotel and Brix.
There isn't an elevator so make sure you stay and the bottom floor if needed. Also there were several dogs there and they seemed to be on the bottom floor so if you have allergies inquire about an upper room. I didn't have any problems.
