“Surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

We were abit worried about a small NON CHAIN motel. But, Pacific Inn Motel was great. We were very happy with our room. And the checkin/checkout staff were extremely friendly .Definately a nice place to stay in the area.

Both Traci and Tracey made us feel so welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. There are two restaurants right by the hotel for breakfast. I see complaints about price, but this price is typical, in our experience, when you are getting lodging far from other towns.

Not a fan of motels or hotels with outside entry. However, this was an exception. It was clean (smelled like new carpet), had what looked like new bedding, and was relatively cheap considering most lodging in the Pac West. I recommend staying if your going to visit the beaches (what we did) or if you are just going because of that twilight movie. Pacific Inn is by far your best option.

No complaints, just nothing special either. It seemed expensive to me, but all of the other similar options in town were priced about the same. The front desk person was friendly. The self service laundry was handy. There are restaurants within walking distance.

The room was clean and fairly spacious. It was in a central location so that we could easily go for day trips and the washer/dryers were useful for our clothes. The only drawback was that I assumed there would be a small breakfast or bagels or something in the mornings, as every other hotel/ motel we stayed at provided one. This did not, and for the price of the room, that was disappointing. For that reason alone, I would probably stay elsewhere.

This hotel can provide you a perfectly decent place to stay. I read other reviews of this hotel, and the others in town, and feel confident saying this is as good as you will get in Forks without going the route of a B&B, which will cost you more. I have read complaints about the price (here and at the other other Forks hotels) but that is the going rate in Forks during the high season, and for about $100, you will have nothing to complain about. (Options in the area are limited; the nearest place with multiple options is Port Angeles, an hour away.) BTW: off-season rates drop by as much as 1/3.

Here's what you will get: no breakfast, but you do get in-room coffee, a micro, a "large" mini-fridge, a flat screen tv with all the channels, a hairdryer, a nice firm bed (best sleep I had on our trip), a room large enough to not feel crowded (we had a king, one bed), a spotlessly clean room with quite new carpet. The only thing I could even criticize is that I prefer more water pressure from the shower: it was, however, absolutely adequate, .

After reading other reviews, I am convinced that reviewers/TripAdvisor have it right: This is probably the best option in Forks. Yes, it's just a typical hotel room but they have all the details right.

Room Tip: We booked early enough to follow the tip to request a room away from the highway. I have read that t...

This is a fairly comfortable and clean motel but it doesn't offer any breakfast and it's expensive for what it is. The staff were friendly, though we didn't see much of them. Convenient as a base for a Twilight tour.
