“Spacious and comfortable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in early August 2013. Our one bedroom suite provided plenty of space for the two of us. It included a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave and stove, a living room with TV and separate bedroom. The interior wood paneling, door jams and kitchen cabinets were quite old and probably from the 1970s. The furniture was modern and well maintained. Our only complaint was that the kitchen coffeemaker was too small.

Room Tip: There is no silverware, dishes, pots/pans or plates in the kitchens. If you decide to cook in your...

We only stayed one night but loved the size of the room. It was apartment sized. We had a 2 bedroom suite because we were traveling with my in-laws. It was nice to be able to walk to a restaurant for dinner and the market was close but not walking distance. The bathroom was large and clean. The room cam with a full kitchen but we did not pay the $10 to use the dishes, stove or silverware. We like being able to go to the market and get a few of those cereals in their own bowls, fruit and milk for breakfast. If was also nice to sit out on the balcony with my hubbie and enjoy a glass of wine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I have is with the large noisy family below us. FYI this is one of the few places in Forks that has nothing "Twilight" about it. A lot of places in town charged more because they were "twilight "themed.

Room Tip: Second floor in same building as office has great balcony views

We stayed here for a few days during out trek around Olympic National Park. It is in a great location to hit all the major parts of the park without to much difficulty. The rooms were large, I mean apartment size large. We had a separate living room, bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom, a private deck off the living room looking into the forest. The kitchen had everything you need and if you were staying for an extended stay you could cook food for a small additional cost. It was very quiet and made for a good place to re-energize after hiking all over Olympic National Park.

We were just here for one night, but would have enjoyed staying longer! Our unit had one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and TV, another bedroom with two double beds and a huge walk-in closet, a good-sized bathroom, a "family room" with TV, couch, table and chairs, and a full-sized kitchen. There was a doorwall that led out to a patio with outdoor chairs and a view of nature. Our 4 kids were thrilled to have so much room! There were lots of extra pillows and three thermostats throughout, so we slept quite comfortably! The downside was that we would have had to request in advance (and pay extra for) being able to use all of the kitchen facilities. We were allowed to use the refrigerator and microwave only with the regular rate. Also, the laundry room was only open from 9am-9pm, which didn't allow us to do our laundry during the time we were there. The unit was very clean and the staff very friendly. There is no free breakfast or restaurant on-site, so a trip to the local grocery store (which was excellent) or restaurant in the area would be necessary in the morning.

We arrived here to stay for a week using Forks as a centre for exploring the Olympic Park. We were self catering using the excellent market in Forks for our groceries. Our room was comfortable, clean & the staff were courteous in every respect so we were well pleased with our stay.
I can't understand the negative report from the person on the 9th.June, he didn't actually stay?

We stayed two nights in a nice king suite on the second floor with a shared front balcony and private rear balcony. The rear balcony looks out onto an old growth forest. This suite is comfortable and clean and appears more like a small apartment with a full size kitchen, living room, lots of storage space and plenty of rear facing windows. Use of the stove runs an additional ten dollars a day. However, the microwave, coffee maker and full size refrigerator is available at no additional cost. You could stay here for a couple of weeks and not feel confined.

My major complaint is with the Wi-Fi service. When we checked in around 5 PM it worked great, but when we got back from exploring the Hoh rain forest around 9 pm it was completely bogged down and totally useless. Performance picked up again the next afternoon as other travelers checked out but pooped out again that night. It is simply unreliable and if that's critical to your stay, I recommend going somewhere else. The other issues that are just annoyances are the loose fitting electrical outlets where your cords want to fall out and the coffeemaker whose auto off and pause and serve features do not work.

There is a short steep trail out back that leads to a river bordered by four and five foot thick redwoods that is worth exploring.

I only had to spend one night and would never stay here again. I booked ahead using the reviews from tripadvisor but was very disappointed. The place was run down, old, and the room they put me in was scary. The person (man) at the desk was very rude. I asked to be moved but he would not even consider it. There were plenty of rooms ( I wonder why!!) available but would not move me. I actually left and drove 4 hours down HWY 101, in the dark, so I would not stay there. Please think twice about this place. There are nicer accomodations in Forks.

Room Tip: Try The Dew Droop in or Pacific Inn
