“Huge Variety...Sushi heaven...!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

This came as a surprise to us, not many reviews on trip adviser though a really good joint...!
Sushi was the main reason we went there and my God, they score big in that section, so much variety and very tasty too. The other spread was also too good not to forget the very Wok/Grill.
It was Sunday so many came for Lobster and were pleased with both quantity and the quality.
This is a much better place than usual chines buffet but it is little costlier too....!

Very well managed buffet and even caters for children Birthday Parties.....!

“not on Sundays”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

Sun 9/2/12: Mika Japanese Buffet/Federal Way, Wa: Today, we came all the way down from the North. Our large group decided to celebrate two birthdays there; for the good selections that please most everyone. The fishes were fresh, the hot items were prepared well, desert couldn’t resist. However, Sunday’s specials for a higher price were a letdown; the steak was chewy, crabs were soft, oysters were stale, and clams were sandy. When we’re in the neighborhood, we’ll do the daily buffet but never again on Sunday, not worth the drive. 3 stars

“Good food Lots of Variety”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

It was late and we were hungry. My wife had just flown clear across the country. We drove from SeaTac down pacific for about 8 miles and saw this new Japanese Buffet.....Well I was wondering what the difference was between Chinese buffet and Japanese buffet. Are you curious? Well the truth is zero, zip, zilch, nada. The food was good and hot and the steam tables were kept full even though it was nearly 10:00 pm (Closing time). There were some real good shrimp dishes and a nice sushi bar (w/sushimi) I was disapointed in the sushi that nearly every different style was loaded with fake crab. Also a chocolate fountain with a variety of things to dip in it. Ok so dinner was not cheap but the food was good and here is the kicker, there were no soy sauces available to the last few paying customers. I went and got one from an empty table. Soon afterward an employee came and took it away and did not return it. I then surveyed all the other patron tables an NO ONE had any soy sauce. I know its kinda petty but if you are spending $20. on dinner you should be able to keep your soy sauce till you are done eating "just sayin" So to sum it up I would definately go again but...... I will hide my soy sauce! Bon Apetite
