“Much Better than Your Average Mexican Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Large selection, good flavores, even more reasonable with 2 for 1 coupons that are in the mail, super margaritas and prompt service.

We have been there 3 times now (FIRST REVIEW) and have never been disappointed in the least about anything in the restaurant.

“Disappointing after reading the reviews”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We chose Angelicas based on the high rating and all the reviews. The salsa was definitely the best we have had at restaurant. The food was pretty disappointing. The hard shell tacos were extremely soggy and the meat was soppy and bland. Some authentic flavors that weren't as overwhelming as some restaurants but still not very good. We would have purchased the salsa by the gallon if it were available. We wont return for the food.

“A real gem in our neighborhood!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

The food dosn't taste like every other Mexican Restaurant you have been to. Traditional offerings but with some added flair, not smothered in a sauce that makes everything on the plate taste the same . The Ranchero Beans have such a unique wonderfully wholesome flavor you know you are eating something that is good for you. I had the Shrimp Enchladas with Verda sauce, OUTSTANDING! Everything we have tried has been delish. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable and did I mention possibly the most wonderful Margarata you could ever hope for. If you don't live in the neighborhood, it's well worth making the trip, it's less than 2 miles West of I-5 past the Aquatic Center. Family owned and operated, good service and a meal far Superior to the CHAINS...at first bite you will know this food is prepared with love. It's our neighborhood go to for the "I don't feel like cooking" nights!

“Best Mexican food in the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Had been looking for a good Mexican restaurant since moving to Federal Way in 1986, and we finally found it. We've been coming here about every 2 weeks for the past year. You can call us regulars.

As basic as it sounds, their food has flavor. All of the others are too bland. Angelica's dishes are full of flavor. I particularly love the steak fajitas. The beef melts in your mouth and tastes like it's been marinating for weeks. Portions are huge no matter what you order. Their chips are thin and warm, and taste...fresh...not out of a bag. The salsa has flavor, not just heat.

Service is usually great, and only occasionally has it been slow. Angelica often tends bar, and makes killer margaritas--although her husband runs a close second.

Prices are very reasonable considering the quality AND quantity of food.

Decor is not fancy, but it's clean (along with the rest rooms).

Do yourself a favor. Go to "the other guys" across the street and then come here the next night. You'll taste the difference.

Highly recommended!
