“The Inn is the most relaxing place to get away and so close to everything!”

The rooms are so beautiful and it is so peaceful to look out at the marina or take a walk down the boardwalk to the delicious restaurants they have. The bed puts any hotel bed to shame! I even asked if I could buy one from them!!!! It was like crawling into heaven. If you ever have a chance to come to Everett; whether for work or play please try the Inn at Port Gardner. From the moment we stepped in the front door the staff were AWESOME; so friendly and helpful to the house keepers who also helped make our stay enjoyable. THANK YOU to all of you at the 'Inn at Port Gardner'! See you soon!

Our family wanted to have a getaway, and so we choose the Inn at Portgardner in Everett Wa. We couldnt have been more pleased. Not only did we have a wonderful room, but the staff was so friendly we felt like family. It was also great whatching the boats come and go. I was told in the Summer they have a great farmers market too. We will all be back.

We stayed in a double queen room that was so cramped, only 1 person could sit down at the tiny desk/table at once. The noise all night long from the train uncoupling & re-coupling was banging and clanging on a regular basis. Then early in the morning, 2 men who appeared to be homeless took up residence at some outside tables below our window. They were talking trash, drinking, and their cigarette smoke was blowing right into our window!

The "continental breakfast" consisted of 7-11 store type choices; everything overly sugary and uninteresting - barely edible.

When we complained to staff about the noise, they claimed the men worked at the cafe which was connected next to the hotel; but I question whether the cafe employees would be drinking at 8 am on Christmas morning! I think they were railroad bums.

There wasn't a refrigerator or microwave or toaster to heat up the bagel or muffin. It probably would not have helped the quality anyway.....

The pros: clean room, comfortable beds.

For the price we paid, we will be staying at a hotel in nearby Mulkilteo next time we come to Everett where for this price we have more space, refrigerator, microwave & quiet accommodations.

We stayed 3 nights for a sibling reunion. Nothing fancy here, but our room was clean and comfortable. We selected what we wanted for continental breakfast, hung our request card on the door with the requested time, and our breakfast was delivered on time the next morning in a basket outside our door. Nice touch. The only thing we thought was missing was a small table to eat at.

We were on the home stretch of a 5-week driving trip from northern CA to Alaska and back. By the time we reached Everett, we were road-weary and ready for something other than the chains. We found the Inn at Port Gardner and were very pleased. The bed was comfortable, the view of the marina outstanding, the desk staff friendly and helpful--all in all, a great experience. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and the area is safe and fun to walk around after dinner. There was some train noise, but not enough to disturb us. We will definitely return when we're in the area again.

Found this great Inn while looking for a place to stay for a couple days to visit with family in the Everett area after a cruise to Alaska from Seattle. We arrived early and a 2 queen bed was not ready. Desk staff talked to housekeeping and they made up a room for us right away. What a find. Great location at the Port of Everett Marina. Lots of restaurants within walking distance: (Scuttlebutts, microbrew, casual dining) Lombardi's (Italian) Anthony's and Woodfire Restaurants (upscale, water views) and Meyer's (cafe/deli). Nice little patio off our Marina View room. Nice continental breakfast delivered to your door in the morning. Fresh coffee and chocolate chip cookies always available adjacent to the lobby. We had a great time having this Inn as a home base for our 2 days visiting with family. Great sunsets at the end of the pier each evening. Harbor seals swimming in the marina. All in all a great place to stay and we will be staying here next year when we make our annual pilgrimage to Seattle area.

We have stayed here before. We stayed again 2 nights for Labor Day weekend. The first room we were given had 2 queen beds and one wooden desk chair. Ummm, where should the other person sit? The room was very crowded with the 2 beds. Not acceptable.
We went back to the front desk and the clerk offered a ground floor room with one king bed, a comfy chair, and a desk chair, along with a nice patio with a table and chairs. Okay, we accepted but all of a sudden it was not available! So we ended up with another similar ground floor room. The room was mostly clean, kind of showing it's age (needs to be painted, carpets cleaned, etc.) The patios also need to be swept on a regular basis. Whenever we went out we tracked stuff in all over the rug, ick!
So, great, we are settled in on the patio overlooking the marina and somebody starts smoking on their patio 5 feet from us. This is a non-smoking building and has a paper about the 25 feet law from an entrance in their hotel book in the room.
Well, I called the front desk and the clerk said people can smoke on the patio as long as they close their own doors and windows to their unit . What?? The door to that unit was wide open so if you are the next guest in that unit or mine you will be smelling smoke!
I can not believe the desk clerk was not aware of the law! And futhermore, the management doesn't enforce the no smoking on the main front patio either because there is a huge ashtray about 5 feet from the door. Which was used frequently!!
One day we were out for several hours only to come back to our room not cleaned. I asked the front desk clerk when our room would be cleaned and she said she had no idea and then left me waiting while she took a long phone call that was not a hotel guest but an employee.
We went here for relaxation because my arm was in a cast from surgery and I explained that when I checked in. I do not think I should stand in pain at the front desk while the clerk talks several minutes to an employee.
We do like the breakfast in a basket that they bring to your door at your requested time.
I think the staff needs more training and the hotel is ready for a spruce-up.
The train noise is very loud and startling, but at least we were prepared, but still is very annoying. TV channels were minimal, that was disappointing.
So, the location is great, nice places to eat nearby, the management just needs to take some steps for more improvements to an otherwise nice hotel.
