“Nice room poor service!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

Room was provided after the 3pm check in but when we got upto it the housekeeper said it was not cleaned yet. Went back to desk and they just said that we'd have to wait 30 min or so. During this time other housekeeping and desk staff just hung out eating popcorn with no sense of team work to take care of guest. An hour later half asleep (we had only 2-3 hours of sleep the night before) in the lobby I had to go back and ask if it was ready yet and it was like they forgot about us and they called to check. The breakfast bar in the morning was a mess, out of stuff , no paperware and no assistance in sight. Desk staff threw 4 frozen "omletts" in the public microwave uncovered and forgot them for awhile. The staff seemed oblivious to any issues.
Room was clean with a great layout.

I am sorry for the delay in having your room ready and that we were behind on breakfast at the time you came down for it. We do work very hard to try to avoid those things. Between the sold out nights on which you stayed and some unexpected staff absences we apparently were unable to avoid those problems in your case. Please know, as evidenced by virtually all other reviews, yours was the exception. I hope you will consider staying again so we can demonstrate to you the exceptional service that we typically deliver.

We chose this hotel to be close to an event. Room was clean. WiFi worked easily.
Breakfast room was terribly small. But since the breakfast was also terrible it worked out OK.
Go down the street a few blocks for decent coffee.

Room Tip: We had a high floor and the room was pretty quiet.

Thanks for pointing out our free Wi-Fi and cleanliness.
You can see pictures of our breakfast eating area online. It actually seats 20 guests with ease at tables and has additional seating on sofas and other chairs. It is in our large and open lobby, but still can feel crowded if all guests decide to eat at once! We also have a large covered patio area with seating in the back, so on nice summer days it can be quite pleasant.

Very impressed. Smaller, but efficient room. No refrigerator but we lived! Very modern. The continental breakfast was outstanding and included egg omelets. Breakfast eating area was very small, but we managed.
We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Room Tip: We opted for the 3rd floor to stay away from noise.

Every once and awhile, I find myself booking a hotel off the beating path. I can honestly say the Guesthouse in was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. In the future, if indeed to find a hotel in a remote location. I will definitely check for a guesthouse inn.

Room Tip: Clean hotel

I was traveling with family from Sweden, four of us to a room. We got in late after a long day of traveling. The room was clean and well maintained. The view from the room was nice. We all enjoyed our stay.

The people that work here are always helpful and friendly. A little noisier than usual this time. Our pet is always welcome and they have a pet run in the back which are nice. Would recommend to anybody that wants a clean, friendly place to stay.

A good stop on a cycling tour of the Olympic peninsula. Helpful staff, clean rooms. No pool, somewhat noisy if you're sensitive to upstairs noises. Within easy walking distance of a Rusty Tractor bar/restaurant (OK).
