...make sure the next guest doesn't arrive while you're still in your room.
While I enjoyed the room, the furniture, the location, the access to local wine and restaurants, there is one problem. They use one of those real estate type lock boxes to get your key.
On Sunday morning, just after rising, someone entered our room after being told she could "arrive early." I don't know who was at fault, the innkeeper or the guest, but there is a flaw in the system if someone can just enter your room while you're still in it.
I emailed the innkeeper when I got home, and got an apology a few days later, with the explanation that they only let people arrive if there is no one in the room.
So, we enjoyed our stay, but I'm not so sure I'd return to this place the next time I'm in Ellensburg.
