“Thanksgiving meal was terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2011

Whatever u do never, ever eat at this place for Thanksgiving. It completely and utterly was horrible. They had a staff of 2 kids waiting on all the tables. Hold your breath until they came around. We had to go get them at least four times. But wait you may be thinking, poor kids. NOT so fast. Kids would hang at the check out stand and hold it up a few times while we were out of everything to drink and eat. Two desserts: pumkin & cheesecake and you have to ask for it when you are done eatting. Coffee=HORRIBLE Maxwell House or something. I honestly could not imagine a worse buffee. Oh and to add insult to injury...we were stuck in the corner away from the three people actually eatting there because they were expecting about 30 other people so they placed us smack in the back ALONE. You say rocket scientists don't work at places like this? What the hell happened to common sense. This was such a joke I can't even think about the fact I actually wasted my time here and I thought Suncadia was bad.....OMG. So the only reason we ate out on T.G. was because my home is under construction. It was the first and last time ever we eat anywhere in Eburg for buffet. And when I asked the lady running the place why the food was so bad she basically said this is Ellensburg you know............................................................. :***(

The room rate was offensively high given the "Quality" of the establishment. Many of the commodities including the pool were not in working order, the coffee was swill, and my room smelled of urine.

Room Tip: Stay at one of the hotels next door

Stayed on our way through to the coast. No continental breakfast and no hot tub/whirlpool but besides that our stay was very enjoyable. Very large pool area. The rooms are a little older and shows a little wear and tear but everything was very clean and tidy. Will stay again.

Yikes. We stayed here with a reservation months in advance... bad vibe #1 - when you show up after a long car trip for the 3:00 check in and your room is not ready... ooooohhh.... bad vibe #2 - when you take a shower after said long car trip and the bath AND shower run at the same time and you are standing in your own shower water, then notice a clump of red hair on the back of the shower curtain (even though you always wanted a kid with red hair, it didn't happen)... bad vibe #3 - you call the front desk to tell them such news, only to know that the hotel is beyond booked and they will give you a $10 refund. That's the only reason they get a poor review from me instead of terrible.

Service was very cordial, and professional. Rooms were clean and very quiet. Peaceful, restful stay.. had excellent dining @ restaurant and enjoyed a drink in the bar while watching a ball game. Definitely a recommendation for weary travelers who need a rest from the road

There is an appalling review of this place from a few weeks back that made me think twice about staying here, but I went with the majority of reviews and booked in. The bad review did seem a little extreme to sa y the least.
The lobby was large, check in swift and I mentioned the bad review with no expectation that it was true. Went up to our room and, sadly, the carpet was so obviously un hoovered, food and bits very evident. Went to reception and got another room. The fault was obviously a poor cleaner and a supervisor, neither of whom were doing there jobs well. Hotel cleaning is simple-the cleaner does what's required, her supervisor checks her work and signs it off as acceptable. The fact that 2 people didn't do their job shouldn't damn the whole hotel.
Having said that, the hotel is tired and needing investment. However, the rooms are comfortable, beds good, and it also has an earthy bar and a restaurant. It cost us $84 which was fine and reasonable value.

Hotel is dated and is in need of a serious overhaul. Dirty, moldy, creepy. Lobby looks great as does the breakfast area. Rooms are definitely not worth the money. Naked guy flashed us from his window fully nude before we could even check in. We reserved a roll-away bed and it was unavailable until I explained that 11 year old boys don't sleep with 13 and 16 year old girls. Not enough towels, no early check in. Restaurants in the area were great. Staff was generally not helpful. Wi fi was not fi-ing at all. took 10 minutes to load facebook and 10 more to log off using the hotel courtesy computer. No coverage in room at all.

Never again.
