Had heard very positive recommendations about Girardi's happy hour and decided to try it out with another couple. While the bar area is small and the outside seating is great for enjoying nice weather (these are the two normal happy hour seating areas) we went on a night that was a bit chilly and wet. Not to fear they also use tables in the main restaurant area to seat happy hour guests. Staff was nice and attentive without be overbearing. One look at the happy hour menu and you will be amazed, it was probably the most extensive that I have seen anywhere. Easily 30-40 choices many of which are scaled down versions of main meals or appetizers off the regular menu. Most of the choices were priced in the $4-$7 range so it made it easy to try new things that sounded good. All 4 of us enjoyed our food, found some new items to try again and can't wait to go back to continue exploring other menu items. Top off the large food selection with a happy hour drink menu that has good variety and good prices and it completed our adventure.
Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that some items on the menu don't have descriptions so you could order something that comes with a sauce or topping you were not expecting. Not many items like that but one we selected did fall into that category, didn't ruin the meal or anything but would have liked to have known. Next time we'll ask about the preparation on those items.
Take a culinary adventure and try Girardi's happy hour.
