“Fantastic experience with Orcas and wildlife!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

We had a wonderful experience. Matt, our guide, was very friendly and extremely knowledgable about the area and wildlife having grown up on Orcas Island. We saw Orcas, seals, porpoises, dolphins, bald eagles, and more. They had excellent binoculars and charts with information on the wildlife in the area. We would deffinitely do this trip again or take friends.

“Great experience, saw planty of Orcas!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

This company was very warm and friendly. They took us to see orcas (whales) but stayed a respectful (and legal) distance from these endangered animals. Captain Joe and his assistant Demi were very knowledgeable and gave us a great time. Highly recommended! PS: don't forget to tip the crew - several people just walked off the boat without donating anything; insulting after all that service, you don't do that in a restaurant so why stiff these people who gave us their all?

“whales whales and more whales”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

wow our trip was utterly magical!

our guide Joe was incredibly knowledgeable and very funny!

there a nice cooperation between all the whale watching boats .. they keep in constant radio contact to tell each other where the whales have been sighted. so when we got going out of the harbor he knew right where to go. we saw our first whale within about 15 minutes!.

We saw two orcas numerous times up close. The guide was willing (and happy) to go overtime to see a humpback that had showed up some distance away as well.

It was a dream of mine to see whales and I can't imagine a more perfect realization of that dream! I highly recommend Joe. Overall he was an informative, kind, and helpful guide!

“Awesome Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Did this tour on Sat June 8. The boat ride from Anacortes, WA in itself was awesome. The water and the surrounding islands are beautiful and peaceful. And of course, we got to see the orcas, and even some harbor seals and bald eagles, and everyone got some great pictures. Our tour guide Matt was also very good.

“Yes, we saw whales!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

I can't think of anything I would have changed about this excursion. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to recommend using them. I did have Travelzoo vouchers, but they were easily redeemed online; only had to pay WA state tax. The boat Triton is in great condition, and I loved the fact that there is a Max capacity of 13. We all had inside seats (only ten of us), but Captain Matt stopped several times to allow us viewing and photo ops. We saw whales, bald eagles, seals, etc., and the ride around the San Juans was an added bonus. Matt was knowledgeable and kept in constant communication with the other whale watching boats so we could get to the best spots for viewing. We didn't feel rushed, and Matt kept searching for more wildlife for us to view. Look no further, book your tour!
