“Perfect weekend getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013

About an hour and 15 minutes east of Seattle, makes for the perfect weekend getaway! This B&B is off the beaten path, but not hard to find at all. It is close to the town of Cle Elum (places to eat/shop), and in the backyard of Lake Easton State Park. It features a beautiful log cabin built by Kent, and it is very cozy and has a rustic, mountain charm. Cathy and Kent are so welcoming and the nicest couple! We enjoyed our conversations with them over breakfast and they were very helpful in suggesting places to see/things to do in the area. Breakfast was amazing and left us full for the entire morning. This place is a must!! Will definitely be returning here next trip to the Pacific Northwest.

We went camping at Lake Easton State park last week, and was looking for a place for my dad (70 yrs old) to stay. I found Waterspring Inn through Google maps, and emailed. Cathy was so friendly and helpful when I inquired about a room. We felt so welcome at our arrival. Cathy and Kent were there greeting us. We stayed in the Rose room, which was very cute and comfortable. The bed was a bit too soft for my dad (who likes extra firm). The en suite bath was so cute and efficient. Breakfast was simple, but so delicious. Kent is an awesome cook!

We felt very homey. Waterspring Inn is now on top of our list if we need a place to stay in Easton area :)

We travelled off the highway wending our way through areas with mountain homes on small holdings to arrive at an interesting log house with a cottage. Very quiet but not too far from Cle Elum and the famous town of Rosalyn 1/2 hr. drive. Cathy & Kent are friendly and pleasant in a quiet manner, just like this setting. You can relax with a book or join them watching a big screen TV. We decided to take a long walk along the local little roads where you view interesting architecture. Kent is the eager chef but we only wanted some fresh fruit and yoghurt as we had a lovely Mexican dinner in Cle Elum. No problem for Kent - Greek style yoghurt with fresh local huckleberries although he probably does a wonderful hot breakfast since we could smell bacon when we woke up. Cathy & Kent built their log home and are quite proud of its design and function (purpose-built for Cathy's needs). Our room was spotless and had everything except for a small dresser. We met another guest staying in the cottage and he mentioned that it was spotless too and had everything they needed. Next time we may try the cottage.

Room Tip: We chose the Rose room as it is "separate" from the main house at the back and has its own...

Really nice little bed & breakfast. Very quiet and clean. Nice and private up in the mountains and off the interstate a bit so no traffic. Owners really care that your stay comfortable. Definitely will visit again!
