This is not haute cuisine-- it's very basic American fare-- lots of pancakes and eggs and bacon. The coffee could be stronger, but it was ok. I ate there three times in two weeks (it's a favorite of my local family) at different times of the day, and the service was uniformly solid. They knew my uncle by name and knew what he liked. There's not much to say about the ambience-- it's just basic. If you go to this restaurant with realistic expectations, you'll be satisfied.
