It's the rare restaurant worth over an hour drive, but these guys do it. They've been serving fantastic food for decades and, it appears, haven't changed the decor in that entire time frame. Yes, the tiny place isn't much to look at, but when you take a bite of anything they serve you'll close your eyes anyway. It's really that good. Their creamy curried carrot soup was one of the best soups I've ever had. Everything else was great to excellent. Just think... a high-end restaurant in a little <3000 person town and it's been there forever. Must be doing things right!
