“Love this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

I recently went to Dayton on a business trip and ha the pleasure of staying at this hotel. It was clean and very comfortable. The owners did everything they could to make sure I had everything I needed. Although my room was on the first floor near the registration desk, it was still very quiet and I slept really well. Some of my coworkers are staying here regularly while working on a project near Dayton and they have been very happy with the hotel and staff too. I will definitely come here again for business and pleasure.

Room Tip: I think any of the rooms are good, however, ones that face the street will be noisier as there are a...

I usually stay at the Weinhard several times a year but this year only made it out once. For friendliness and atmosphere it can't be beat. My only quibble is the lack of a protein at their free continental breakfast. Might I suggest some hardboiled eggs? 10/10 will visit again.

Thank you for your latest review! We so appreciate your continued patronage. Thank you for your recommendation regarding protein at breakfast. Over the years, we have expanded our continental breakfast to accommodate the needs of our guests, adding first granola and yogurt, then bagels, cream cheese and peanut butter. Hard boiled eggs are an easy way to add a source of protein. We will certainly consider including that as well. Have a safe and happy winter. We look forward to your next visit! Shellie McLeod

Our third visit and third different room in this beautifully restored hotel, each one comfortable and spotless. This time we participated in a murder mystery event hosted by proprietors Gary and Shellie and had so much fun! Their spirited conversations about the community and the Touchet Valley are accompanied by their own love for their home here. Very willing to accommodate guests' needs and wants! "Black Barbara" and "Poker Alice" will definitely return for a fourth stay!

We have stayed here several times and would go back again! The owners are wonderful. Comfortable beds with luxurious bedding. Some rooms have only two twin beds which would be perfect for kids...or me and my snoring husband! I highly recommend a murder mystery weekend! So fun!

We received a gift package from our children. We stayed in a lovely, spotless room at the hotel and ate dinner at Patit Creek. We enjoyed our time at the hotel. The rooms are beautiful as is the entire hotel. The owners are very nice and most helpful. We had a lovely time. We always enjoy our time spent in Dayton. We've stayed at the hotel before and enjoyed then as well.

This was our third stay here, and as usual it was brilliant. The owners are outgoing, friendly, happy to sit down and share stories and even a bit of the local wine. We'll certainly return again once the snow melts off the passes.

Room Tip: Check out Dumas Station winery just west of town for wonderful big reds, and the nearby fromagerie...

My wife and I escaped the fog of the west side and had an enjoyable stay at the Weinhard Hotel. Enjoyable weekend in and around Dayton and Walla Walla. Clean rooms, welcoming owners who were knowledgeable and helpful in every way.
