Food was quite good, prices affordable, friendly atmosphere, but they have been out of business since January.

“Out of business....CLOSED!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

I stopped by this restaurant today and it appears it is closed. Through the windows it looked like they're either doing renovations or have just closed up shop completely. This was the case from my personal visit to Concrete on January 25, 2014.

“Good food, good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

We had both daily specials which consisted of a hot link scramble and a cinnamon swirl french toast. Since the french toast wasn't enough, my husband also ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. All the food was very tasty. The coffee was good too. Friendly server. The food took a little longer than normal to come out but was worth the wait. While we were there some locals came in, and you can tell they were a small community and this was a place the locals eat at which is always a good sign. Definitely a place to come back to.

Stopped for breakfast. Service was good even though the place was almost empty and there was only one person working. Great breakfast an best bacon around!

“A Real Find with Excellent Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

My friend and I stayed in Concrete, WA, so we could go hiking around Mt. Baker. Someone who lives in town recommended the Washington Cafe and Bakery, and as soon as we entered, we knew it was the right place for us. The coffee is freshly ground, the bread and baked goods are made on the premises, and all of the food is fresh. They request that customers have patience while the food is prepared because it IS fresh - not something frozen thrown in a microwave. My friend is a homemade french fry aficionado, and he declared that these were the best he had ever had. Our meals were so delicious that we returned the next morning for breakfast. The service was great (very friendly servers), the food fantastic and the prices good. If we are in the area again, we will DEFINITELY return to this terrific cafe.
