“Best Garden & Serene B&B Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2011

This place has the best presentation of any B&B we've been to.
You keep discovering tasteful decoration in the room & in the gardens.
Everyday the rabbits come up to you to be fed, and in the evening the Christmas lights really make the garden look picturesque.
A great value considering how perfect everything is.

My husband and I stayed at the Farmhouse to celebrate our 5-year anniversary and just loved it. We stayed in the Lavendar Suite which was only $129/night and provided a small sitting area with electric fireplace, dining area, small kitchen, big bathroom, and queen size bed. Breakfast was already prepared and in the fridge for us when we arrived so we got to enjoy a really private breakfast in our own room. Janie and Gary are really nice people and showed us around the property and beautiful gardens but also gave us our privacy. They also (and here was the highlight for me) gave us food to feed the animals on the property; two donkeys, two sheep, and LOTS of bunnies. The entire experiece was relaxing (outdoor hottub) and cheerful (the cutest bunnies running around fruit trees and under quaint benches) and didn't break the bank! Langley is a sweet little town nearby with a few restaurants and shops and on your way to Langley is a bike shop that rents them out by the day or week ($30/day or $15/hour per person).

My husband and I planned a last minute trip for our 10th anniversary. They had the Daisy room available. It was so spacious. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed seeing the rabbits right out of our window while we ate breakfast. The breakfast is prepared and left in your fridge and you just have to heat it up. This is nice because you can eat when ever you want to . It was a very nice surprise that we were left a bottle of fruit juice with a n note wishing us a happy anniversary. In the morning we got to feed Cleo and Leo and the bunnies. The gardens are amazing. I know that we will be back.

This is a fabulous getaway! Each room is spacious and charming. The grounds, complete with roaming bunnies, are beautiful and have a great view of Useless Bay. Your hosts, Janie and Gary, are accommodating and welcoming. We enjoyed incredible breakfasts each day and warm cookies each afternoon. If you want a cozy, charming getaway from the city, this is the spot!!

Room Tip: The rooms, suites really, vary in size. Most can accommodate an entire family of 4 or so.

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse. Each room has a flower theme to match the lovely gardens. Janie makes a great breakfast that she leaves in your fridge for you to heat up at your leisure. Gary is quick to introduce you to the rabbits, burros and sheep. He even brings you carrots to feed the gang. Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The perfect get away.

Ten of us who use to work together at an elementary school recently had the pleasure of going over to Whidbey Island on a mini-vacation and we all stayed at the Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast in Clinton. What a wonderful place to all be together! You cannot help but fall in love with their beautiful B&B, and the hosts, Janie and Gary, go beyond to make your accomodations the best they can be anywhere! The bunnies and the donkeys are delightful - too fun! Gary took all of us for a ride on his vintage 1951 firetruck, bells and whistles and all - what a thrill! Janie's cooking is absolutely devine and you will never forget the presentation! Gary makes sure to help with any additional item you may want. It truly was hard to leave and we all look forward to returning, if not together, on our own. You will love it, too!

The Rose Suite was spacious, clean and creatively decorated with a green and pink garden theme. My mom and I especially enjoyed the beautiful gardens, the many birds (we even saw and heard an owl), and the view of Useless Bay. The bunnies and the donkeys entertained us. The hot tub was a nice treat at night; the garden was lit up with white lights. Provisions in our room were thoughtful and our breakfast was delicious. No air conditioning, but many windows. Our bed and pillows were very comfortable.
