“Combined with Beamer's Hell's Canyon Boat Tour... Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The hospitality, staff and overall experience with this packaged deal was awesome. Full breakfast menu was nice. Service excellent! Wednesday evening wine tasting an added plus!
We did not use the spa or have kids for the kids actrivities~

Room Tip: We had a room with a view of the rivers. Very nice!

Spent two nights as we had travelled to the area to jet boat the Snake River into Hells Canyon.

Very clean, quiet, and friendly. Best part was that a full restaurant breakfast was included for two (anything on the menu including drinks). Food was very good as was the service.

We prefer staying at Quality due to the rooms being clean and quiet. The reservation staff are always helpful, but were especially so this time as had reservations, had to cancel, made new reservations. By the time we arrived they were able to get us into the type of room we wanted. The housekeeping staff were cheerful and helpful. We enjoy eating at Bogie's Restaurant and the coupons for meals make it an particularly nice treat. We've noticed that whether it is the wait staff, hostess, or manager they hustle, help each other, and are always being sure people's needs are taken care of quickly. Quality has a large parking lot, but it seems the side where we stay is also the side where the tour buses and pickups/trailers. This can be frustrating at times.

Booked a two night stay with a bedroom suite with two grand children. To use the hide-a-bed furniture had to be moved under the counter and still very little area to move around. As a result we had to book an additional room. Called the front desk and requested they swept the patio and wipe down the patio furniture which they did. Patio still needed to be pressure washed and cleaned around the base of the outside wall. Arrived at 7 AM for breakfast and it took 25 minutes for food to arrive which was cold. Second morning good service but food was not warm enough. The outside area of the hotel has grass which looked like it hadn't been mowed in a week. Management needs to be more attentive.

My husband and I recently stayed at this facility and received the royal treatment. We arrived mid morning of our two night stay and because I had indicated ahead of time that we'd be coming in from a long train ride (almost 2 days with out much sleep), they had our room ready for us by 10 in the morning. They even served our lunch after the restaurant had officially closed for the lunch hour, because we went to bed first because we were so tired we were almost sick, and didn't get down there until 2:00. I can't say enough about the accomodations. Better than we usually get on our trips. Staff and especially the managers were MOST helpful and friendly! It's not every manager who has his/her office right next to the check in desk, with the door wide open. The landscaping across the whole back of the area was out of this world in my opinion, coming from WI where not much had started blooming yet. The grounds people take obvious pride in their work. We got a deluxe room on the river side becuase of our trip on the Queen of the West river boat cruise, but I'm sure all of the rooms would have been suitable for us. Loved the restaurant food and the servers. Right next to a driving range and putting course, and a park along the river. We would DEFINITELY stay there again!

Nice hotel located right on the Snake river. Lots of abundant parking. You enter on the 2nd floor and take elevators up and down. The room was large and comfortable and I could tell it had been recently remodeled. We booked the military rate so we didn’t get a room with a view of the river but no complaints. The bathroom wasn’t as small as I expected. The door does open in and you do want to close the door in order to maneuver but it is no different than many other hotel rooms I have encountered in more expensive places. The counter is very low which belies the age of the hotel but it is covered in nice granite and the floor has large ceramic tile. The bed was comfortable and the sheets nice and soft. The pillows were fine per my husband (although I carry my own feather with me). The internet was very good - fast and snappy
They had really nice cookies available around 7:30 (they even called me when the cookies were ready) and offered “buy one get one” drink coupons that could be used in the bar or restaurant. The breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant and you can choose an entree (such as hash browns, eggs, meat and toast) or two sides and a beverage. This means if you want coffee you get to pay for your juice. A very small 8 oz glass goes for $2. Our breakfasts were very nice. Don’t forget to tip the servers!!
I would return to this hotel as we had a good stay.

The QI is pretty much the standard middle-of-the-range US-style hotel, with no surprises. The big plus for us was that we could walk over to board the Beamer's Hell's Canyon tour boat early in the morning on the Snake river. The other thing we liked was the ability to enjoy the swimming pool on our return, since it had been a very hot day.
The things we did not like were the breakfast vouchers (included in the room) which entitled us to one drink and two side dishes from the menu, tips not included. No buffet breakfasts are available. Also, we got vouchers for "free drinks" which was another way to state that we would have got a 50% discount (no including tip) for the first drink.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the river are available.
