We were in Lake Chelan for a week during the Fire and Ice Festival. Beautiful location with several lakes in the area. I'm sure this is a real hot spot during the summer, but we found a lot of places closed in January. Enjoy the wine tasting at numerous wineries throughout the valley. Not a lot to speak of in way of restaurants that we found particularly great, but adequate. The Fire and Ice Festival was fun with a lot of activities for the kids including an ice slide, ice carving demonstrations and a street clown. We did some hiking in the area and enjoyed the natural beauty of the area. I'm certain there are a lot more activities to do in the Summer, but are somewhat limited in the winter months.
