“Clean, affordable, and conveniently located”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2011

Had no problems with this hotel. The staff was very accomodating, and nothing fancy - but everything was very clean. It's just a 7 min or so drive into Leavenworth, and with the way most of the other hotels jacked up their prices for the Festival - we welcomed the affordability of the Wedge Mountain Inn. Wish they offered the continental breakfast year round, but there's a cafe right next door that served an amazing breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay here for our 4oth wedding anniversary.During the October Fest in Levenworth. We also had 5 other rooms booked for our friends and family.. We all enjoyed our stay very much, Deb and her family made us feel right at home, and catered to all of our requests,We where also treated with a upgrade for our anniversary, The suite was beautiful. We where spoiled with wine , strawberries, and choc,. and a newly decorated room. That was just perfect.
All the rooms are good size and very clean. Beds are very comfortable, Their continental breakfast included the best coffee in town ,a nice choice of fresh fruit ,cereals, rolls ,and several other choices to choose from, that gave us a good start ,to our days in Levenworth.
The location was great, just a few miles fron Levenworth, but out where it was nice and quite, with get veiw of the mountains. If you want a relaxed atmosphere thats clean ,comfortable and affordable, This is the place to stay.!! We will diffenitly be back !!!!!!.

We should have listened to the previous reviews. We were desperate
for a place to stay so we booked a reservation. The woman on the
phone said it was non-smoking. Before you book a reservation come
see and smell the place. (you might want to tuck in a gas mask too.)
The smell of smoke is strong! We will never stay here again.

We were invited to Leavenworth WA. for a wine tasting with family and being it was Autumn leaf festival there this was the only place we get reservations. It is about 5 miles out of Leavenworth. After reading reviews here I was not sure about this place. Since they have a 48 hour cancellation policy we didn't have a choice. The cost was $95.00.
We were greeted by Stoner ( really his name )one of the people that run the MOTEL as it is not a Inn. Then a women came out of the back room looking like she just came from a shelter. She asked my wife if it was cash pointing to a sign that said discount for cash which she looked disappointed when we said CC. They told us there was a continental breakfast in the morning and coffee. No coffee in room. Were told key works room and back door after hours, THEY DON'T.
Room was pretty clean and smelled of cleaner. However plastic furniture with chips all over, old uncomfortable bed with only 2 small pillows which she became annoyed when asked for 2 more which she brought to our room later and left our room unlocked. Bathroom had 2 small motel-6 type soaps and 2 shampoos. About all that was great was the towels which were new and big. Trim around door which had the deadbolt and safety clasp had been shattered when someone had kicked in the door and been nailed back together with nails.
My brother also stayed in the room next door and was yelled at in the morning when they emptied one pot of coffee into the cups the motel gave them to use. There was also only some old fruit that I saw the previous day and nothing else. When asked about the rolls that were supposed to be there we were told they couldn't get to town because of the festival going on. We had no problems in fact they could have gone too Safeway which was before the town.
My brother also told me they were asked about cash or credit and when they said cash there room was discounted $20.00 and she smiled and put the money in her pocket.

This is not a motel worth anything near the price they are charging. I'm not kidding when I say Motel-6 is a 5 stare motel compared to this. If this is the only choice in the area Run don't stop back to Wenatchee which is only 10 miles down the road. If you can not do that drive back home and forget about it.

We had multiple family members who booked rooms in advance. Upon check in, the front desk help was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and rude and even used the "F" word in front of our children when she got confused and agitated.

Her confusion started with the first guest arriving, she had given a key to the room we reserved on the ground floor. When we arrived she got even more confused, she went into the room (after she had already given out a key!!) and said they had only used the bathroom and rested on beds. She then gave us a key to this room also! So, when the first guest arrived back later and entered the room, they found people in there! We were all family but, once a key is given, a room should only be entered upon an emergency or with permission!

Knowing they just enter a room when they wish and hand out keys to anyone did not make us feel safe.

Don't plan on a continental breakfast! We were told that if we didn't pay cash, then there wouldn't be any because nobody had paid with cash!

Also watch what you were charged. At least on guest was overcharged $9 on tax

The facility was supposed to be non-smoking. The halls and entry area smelled of smoke so bad that you could smell it coming under the door to your room!

Based on the front desk service, I would definately NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone!

First, the website leads you to believe that there are microwaves and mini-fridges in each room. No, not true. Then, it goes on to say that the rooms are non-smoking. That is technically true. However, the management does smoke and the smoke permeates the hallways and into the rooms. I have asthma and cigarette smoke is a major pain. Not only did we have to deal with the smoke in our room and my allergies and asthma kicking in, our clothes, skin, the towels and sheets all smelled like smoke. As soon as we got home, I emptied our suitcases directly into the washing machine.

The first time I stayed here I wasn't so sure about it. We checked in around 10:00am & the guy at the Front desk greeted us in cut-off's and no T-Shirt. I know it's not a fancy place, but I would of thought for being Family friendly that he would of been more conserative. When we arrived back at the Hotel later that day about 1;00PM We met the Manager Helen. Surprisenly she was still in her Bathrobe. The room was clean, but the carpet were dirty with spots on them. My family and I came back for a family reunion and decided to stay at the Wedge Moutain Inn again. I only paid $55.00 before, so figured why not. This time I paid a little more. The rates had gone up. But this time when checking in I was greeted by a Dressed couple, and they were very friendly. The carpets had just been done not so long ago,and they have done some major cleaning in and outside of the Motel. The Housekeeping staff are also very friendly. I plan to tell and my friends and relatives, and plan to stay here every time we come to Leavenworth. I GIVE THIS MOTEL 5+ STARS..........
