“Holiday Inn Express in Burlington, WA. is top quality.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2006

The Holiday Inn Express in Burlington, WA. is a high quality hotel.

Management is excellent, very professional and very knowledgeable.

Front desk personell, housekeeping and breakfast room staff are excellent. All of the staff are very courteous. The hotel exceptionally clean, breakfast is outstanding. The grounds are beautifully maintained.

We will recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at a Best Western in Kelso, WA. on registering the person at the front desk was arrogant.
On signing out the front desk told us we made a long distance call and charged us for it. We did not make any long distance call. The front desk person insisted we did. I refused to pay it, my wife told me to pay it. During this exchange the manager stood there and said nothing. We were treated like we weren't worthy to stay there.

That hotel can't even stand in the shadow of Holiday Inn Express Inn in Burlington, WA.

My husband and I stayed at this motel and will make it a point to make reservations to stay there again next year. The staff were wonderful with very positive attitudes. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and the water pressure great! They have a neat heating/cooling system which kept our room at a constant level. Easy on-off to I5. The towels and washcloths are the thick plush ones you do not often find. We usually stay at Courtyards and I'll put this motel up with the Marriots!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on September 7th and found the hotel to be excellent in every way. The Lobby is beautiful and the front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was nicely furnished, in excellent condition and the towels were large, fluffy and soft. The beds were excellent (firm mattress in excellent condition) and the high speed internet access was easy to use. (hardwire not wireless).

I would definitely stay at this location again.

Great place for the price. Rooms were nicely appointed and very clean, with fabulous towels. Breakfast was very good and made the room a great deal for four. Front staff was very helpful. Pool was a little small but the kids had a great time in it. We will be using the hotel again in the future.

I am also among those travelers who decide upon properties whether they have a pool area or not. However my experience at this property was excellent, the pool including. Great lobby, nice breakfast room, friendly staff (unfortunately not local, because I had some questions regarding Pudget Sound) and great rooms. I spent 2 or 3 hours at the pool and was the only guest. Wonderful!

I gave this place a average just because of the pool. When we go to a hotel, we want to relax in the pool after a long day of driving or sightseeing. The pool was so cold that I couldn't get into it. Everyone was complaining. When we asked the management, they wouldn't do anything. The room was beautiful as was the motel. The breakfast was great. If you don't plan to swim, this place would be great for you!
