We have been to Outback Steakhouses around the US, and they are all quite similar. The addition of weekend lunch hours in recent months looked like a welcome plus. We decided to go to the Outback in East Bremerton for Saturday lunch. Being a steakhouse, one might think that they would have a steak sandwich, or French Dip, or roast beef sandwich available. Not the case. The outback was basically offering a variety of $10 hamburgers, and a few simple others. The burgers were good, but what's the point of a steakhouse being open for lunch if they are specializing in burgers? The place was almost empty, and I can understand why. They missed the mark, and unless they rev-up the menu, the weekend lunch won't make it. Disappointing.
