“Mexican food done right.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Look past the restaurant's exterior appearance and walk in to enjoy some delicious Mexican food. Starting with the tortilla chips, that taste fresh. I've tried both the ahi tuna fish tacos and the Cuban torta, both were like a fiesta in my mouth. I'm excited to try something different. Prices are right too.

“Hot and tasty Mexican food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

All I can say is… yum. We stopped here for lunch on a weekday afternoon and every dish was excellent. It's an unassuming exterior -- easy to miss in a strip mall near a vacuum store. Parking can get tight at busy times, but we found a spot right out front around noon.

The dining room was busy, but not packed. The service was relaxed, maybe not the place to go if you're in a rush, but everyone was friendly, and the food was hot, delicious, and perfectly portioned. Don't forget to ask what's in the large, glass barrels behind the bar. There was some wonderful horchata on our visit. Under $30 for lunch for four people is a great deal. We'll be back!

“Best Mexican I've had. Period.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

We discovered this place after 10 months in Bothell on business. Maybe it's better that we didn't find it sooner because we never left there hungry!

Our last visit was in a party of 4. We each ordered 1 item to share and one for ourselves because we wanted to experience as much as we could before leaving town.

What followed could be labeled as gluttony, debauchery or nirvana. It was probably a little of each!

Several times during this feast one of us would comment that a dish was the "best ever".

Also, we ordered a side of sour cream and they plopped down a small dish with at least a half cup of sour cream in it. No fooling around at this place!

As with many places, you may not like every dish. But get a chance to fo with some friends and try multiple dishes and you will NOT be disappointed.

One last word: Chimichanga.

“Julios is yummy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

Julios doesn't look impressive from the outside, but the food is great, authentic, and reasonably priced. Julio the owner is a great guy. He took our son in the kitchen to "help out" when he was having a bit of the meltdown and saved our night. My son was so happy for the personal attention.
