Description: Packers Oyster Bar, located off the main lobby at Semiahmoo Resort, is a dining venue dedicated to capturing and preserving the history and romance of the early 1900s and the abundant canneries and fisheries that thrived a mere stone’s throw from the site of today’s restaurant. Though the industry has fallen quiet over the past decades, Packers is a living commitment to revive and celebrate the historic business and lifestyle significance to the region. Artifacts and images of times past abound, in tribute to that longstanding tradition of hard work and bountiful fish.Culinary hallmarks on the menus daily are the freshest, often changing products available locally.

“Super waterfront dinning”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2014

We ate in Packers 2 nights in a row while staying at re resort both nights the food was excellent although the portions were small. The sautéed crab/corn entree was delicious and full of dun genesis crab, however since it was a small serving, it needed bread with it. My husband had the dab/seafood Louie which again was small, but packed with shrimp and crab.

“Old name new restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2014

Located in the Semiamhoo Resort Packer's has been around since the beginning. In 2013 new owners took over the resort and this was our fiirst trip to Packers since it re-opened. We boated over from our summer place at Pt. Roberts. The new Packers has been very tastefully refurbished, menu for lunch had a good variety and the service from our server Lauren was excellent. We split a seafood salad and oysters, both were excellent. In addition a new more upscale restaurant has been introduced on the North Facing side of the resort that had a more extensive menu and some great outside tables. We will definitely be back and have recommended Packers to other boating friends.

“Outstanding pizza!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

We have tried 3 of the wood oven baked pizzas and YES they are by far some of the best pizzas ever. Sapphire blue is heavenly with blue cheese, shallots and carmelized onion. The chorizo and prawn has the traditional tomato effect - very good and today we tried the grilled vegetable, although this was not at all what we expected it did not disappoint - baked garlic, homemade pesto, tiny mushrooms and fresh cream cheese - unbelievable. Then you must try the fruit and cheese plate, very healthy portions of three types of cheese, two slices of very tasty rustic bread and a selection of jams and fruit.
A glass of brew or wine and ohhhh the view overlooking semihamoo bay you have an afternoon to remember.
