“Outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

The resort is currently under a remodel and I was quite surprised that it wasn't noisier. It will look really nice when it's done. Our family chose this place for a quick getaway. It was quite relaxing and plenty of activities for everyone. The kids played in the pool, ping pong, tennis, and hung out in the beach. In the evening, we played chess and tic-tac-toe. The trails are nice and flat. Easy ride for bikes and scooters or pushing a stroller/wheelchair. We also spotted a bald eagle! It was a great trip and I would definitely return.

“Check out this resort!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

Semiahmoo is a great place to get away for a couple days. They are currently in a major remodel and are offering some great deals. Whether you're there to relax, some beautiful scenery, for the spa, a game of tennis or fine dining, it will not disappoint! We took a day trip to Canada which is only a half hour away. We will definitely go back!

“Low tide explorations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

Semiahmoo has been our family's favorite resort for the last 8 years. We return at least twice a year. The rooms are huge, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated directly on the beach so all you have to do is walk outside and you're where you want to be. When our son was small this was the most stress-free place to go--any small emergency and we were only steps from our room. Ocean view rooms mean that parents still feel that they are on vacation even while waiting for a small person to finish his nap. During our low-tide explorations we've seen beds of sand dollars, colorful seastars, long-legged herons, talkative seagulls and massive crabs. In the evening the sunset turns the water gold and blue. It's a magical place full of memories for us.
The food is great, the service is friendly and I think there are tons of activities for anyone who gets tired of beach combing--we never have so I can't say for sure! In the summer the outdoor pool is a lot of fun--much bigger than most hotel pools--and the spa is also wonderful. We come at any time of year we can and have never been disappointed.

“Reception/Check-In”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

Jay Lucas and his associate Phillip made our check-in experience a treat. That may sound unusual, but we were just looking for a place to spend the night on our drive home from the Gulf Islands to Portland. When we arrived, Jay and Phillip had both made every effort to make sure that we would be happy with our decision to stay at Semiahmoo, and get great value for our money at the resort. We were very pleasantly surprised with the service they provided.

“Special Treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

We live on our boat at Semiahmoo Marina and have attended functions at the Semiahmoo Resort for years. Circumstances required finding lodging for the night and the Resort was very convenient. The room was very nice, the beds especially comfortable and service was superb. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the waterside restaurant. I frequently refer friends and acquaintances to the Resort and this gave me an opportunity to see it firsthand. I wasn't disappointed.
