“What a deal!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

On an overnight stay to Bellingham my wife and I strolled through downtown Bellingham and stumbled into this place. We fell in love with the price and quality of their drinks. We each had a beer and a glass of wine with a cheese plate for under 30 dollars. The ambiance was business casual, with good music and a lot of cool places to sit. A great view of the street and town with huge windows allowing a lot of light in. Although we didn't stay for dinner, the menu looked great with tapas specials and interesting desserts. We will definitely be stopping by here again the next time in town to listen to some of the live music!

“End of the Year”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

A wonderful place to enjoy wine with cheeses, meats, and some fine good fare. Happy hour, especially the late happy hour, brings some nice specials. It was the perfect place to debrief after watching Lincoln with good wine, good food and a scrumptous dessert.

“Just go...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

Don't even think about it; just go to the Temple Bar and have a great experience. We found ourselves in Bellingham two years ago and stumbled upon this place. We were completely blown away by what they can do in a tiny kitchen. We couldn't wait to go back and made a special trip back to Bellingham just to visit the Temple Bar. We weren't unhappy that we did! Same great service, delicious little plates of food, fantastic happy hour deals and unique cocktails. The decor is not fancy. I saw one couple come in, look around and leave. They made a huge mistake in judging the place by the furniture!! The only bad thing was having to leave.

“Dr Sketchy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

This place is great. Where else can you get a plate of cheese and a bottle of french wine for $15. Yep, I said $15. The plate of cheese is smallish, but the bottle of wine is the real deal. My favorite great thing about this bar is that every month there is a special night for artists. You bring your sketch book and they provide the models. It is FABULOUS. Marvelous. Not to be missed. Oh- The Temple Bar has wonderful cocktails BTW. They use fresh herbs and the mixologist is a genius.

“Great food in a simple lovely spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

We were just in Bellingham for a long weekend and we ate at the Temple Bar 3 days in a row! The menu is smallish, but everything we had was tasty, with great (not overly enormous) portions and very nice presentation. The cocktails are the best I've had in Bellingham, and the service is always friendly and quick. We loved sitting outside sharing snacks and drinks and enjoying the sunshine.
