I would recommend this hotel very highly! I made the reservation over the site and placed a req. for a nice view because my Wife and I were celebrating our 3rd year Marriage Anniversary. We walked into the hotel and were greeted right away by Jessica and Anna. Once I said my name they both said "Happy Anniversary" which meant a lot to My Wife and I. They were helpful with a lot of information about the area. We went to our room and we were upgraded to the Washington Suite...an amazing room! They also placed champaigne in our room. The hotel was very clean..very comfortable..great location! Great Service..great breakfast..can't say enough..if you are ever in Bellingham..pls stay at the Best Western Plus Heritage Inn. Jessica and Anna really don't know how much it meant to have their top level of Guest Service. Thank you both.

Scored this hotel for "name your own price" of $60 + taxes on Priceline. WHAT A STEAL AT THAT PRICE! Front desk staff was friendly when we checked in. Asked if we had any preference to which wing our room was located. We asked for one in the same complex, she cheerfully compiled. Rooms were located on the 3rd floor. Didn't see any elevators (not sure if wheel chair accessible) so we took the stairs. Small rooms with an average sized bathroom (nice shower, no tub). Bed's were a little bit on the firm side. We had no problems with that. The best part of the stay was the great complimentary breakfast they had (located in a separate complex). Waffles, ham, cheese, eggs (microwaved and hard boiled), cereals, fresh and canned fruits, different assortment of breads (raisin), bagels, juice, milk, coffee. What a spread! We will definitely be back!

Everyone here is so warm and friendly, and the rooms are exceptional. I've stayed at several hotels here in Bellingham, and I have to honestly say that this is by the far the nicest of all of them. The location is also superb. It's right off of the interstate 5 freeway, with close and easy access to the North and South bound entrances. The gym is open 24-hours a day, which is an awesome perk for me, and the breakfast bar is also above average. The parking is plentiful, and I really like where the hotel is situated... I absolutely will be staying here again!

This is long overdue, as we have just returned from our tenth stay at the Heritage Inn. It is always our intention to write a review when we get home, to praise their efforts so others can appreciate the excellent job they do, but time somehow gets away. After our most recent experience, we just had to write to say that they continue to do a stellar job in every respect. This is not an expensive hotel, so many of the amenities they provide are above and beyond what you would expect from a similarly-priced property.

We first chose the Heritage Inn because of it's convenient location to the airport, and after our first stay, we wouldn't consider any other hotel in the area. Because we live a significant distance from Bellingham (involving two ferries), we always plan to arrive the day before our flight to eliminate concerns about late sailings, border waits, etc. After being checked in at the Heritage Inn by efficient and courteous front desk staff, we have plenty of time to relax and enjoy our room before dinner. There are lots of restaurant choices within easy walking distance of the hotel, so no worries about having that bottle of wine with dinner!

The rooms themselves are well appointed, with extremely comfortable beds, good quality flat screen TV's, exceptionally clean, and with above-average linens and bathroom amenities. After a restful night's sleep, we enjoy the extensive variety of food choices in their bright and cheerful breakfast room. Their breakfast attendant has been there quite awhile, and actually seems to remember us from previous visits -- she does an excellent job of keeping the food items well stocked and the room spotlessly clean.

Now here is another excellent reason to stay at the Heritage Inn if you're flying out of Bellingham airport -- they allow us to leave our vehicle in the hotel parking lot while we're away (for a very nominal fee), and their friendly staff shuttle us to and from the airport. Even though we often arrive back from a trip in time to drive back to Canada, we always elect to stay again at the Heritage Inn and enjoy another relaxing evening before heading home the next day. This also provides us with an opportunity to do a little shopping at Bellis Fair Mall, which is just across Meridian Street from the hotel.

The Heritage Inn has become a traditional part of every vacation we've taken that involves flying out of Bellingham, and ensures a stress free way to start and finish our holiday. We look forward to future visits with them.

This hotel is walking distance to EVERYTHING (except the theatre). In the same parking lot is a Denny's and a Burger King. Right across the street is a Red Robin and the Bellis Fair Mall with a movie theatre. Up the block from the hotel about a half a mile is a Starbucks, Best Buy, Bank of America, several spas and other restaurants. You definitely don't have to worry about food. Including the mall Food Court there are many other options including Indian and Thai. My room was nice. Definitely cozy and had more of a home feel. The flatscreen tv was on a swivel so I could move it around depending where I was sitting in the room. I believe all the rooms had DVD players which is great! (I watched Disney Pixar's Cars for the first time). There was a recliner in my room that looked very old and worn, but besides that the room was nice. This hotel is laid out in 3 separate buildings. So make sure if your group stays here you pick up a map and direct them to what building they're in. Also ask the front desk to label the building letter or name on key packets so you know exactly where you're going. You must use your room key to access each separate building interior corridors to get to your rooms. There are no elevators in this property, so if people have heavy suitcases it won't be very fun carrying them up stairs. Fortunately there aren't many levels to the hotel. Request to be on a lower level to alleviate carrying your bags. There is a laundry room with one washer and one dryer. The gym is across from the front desk and is very nice. Its in its own area and it is 24 hours. From what I remember there are 2 treadmills, a full set of free weights, a great universal machine and I believe a couple of other cardio machines. The gym also has 2 flatscreen tvs, filtered water available and towels. They also provide disinfectant wipes to clean off machines when you're done using them. There is also a fitness center up the road from the hotel on Meridian if anyone is looking to use a larger gym. The lobby is cute and has some cozy furniture. The hotel provides cookies and apples in the lobby. The hotel provides breakfast in a breakfast room, but I didn't have breakfast when I was there. There is free wireless internet that was pretty choppy. If you have an aircard use it here. I ordered from Pizza Pipeline and they delivered to the room which is nice and the pizza was also pretty good. There is bus parking available and its free. The hotel is about 2 and a half miles from the theatre we were playing but it was a good quick ride without traffic. I would definitely stay here again. The company enjoyed it very much and you have everything available to you feet away.

Conveniently located off Meridian Street near most of Bellingham's shopping. Tucked back in a corner so it was much more quiet than I expected. Nice-sized room with king bed and modern (recently renovated?) bath. Very clean. We had to wait a few minutes for a table at breakfast. Breakfast staff really hustled to keep the buffet stocked. Check-in and out was very fast, efficient, and courteous. Plenty of free parking adjacent to the building. Good value for the $95 we paid (tax included).

If you are in town to shop from Canada, this is the best place to stay in the bellis fair neighbourhood..... that we have tried so far.
