“Overpriced and Not Worth It”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

The Theater is a restored 1920s movie house that now has live touring shows and sometimes local productions on the stage. The touring show selections are bad and way over-priced and the local theatre - The Rep - claims to be professional but the performances are B-grade at best and the ticket prices are outrageous for what really is just community theater.

“Excellent place to see live shows”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

We have been to many shows - plays, musicals and musicians - in this venue. There are few bad seats. The acoustics are good. The bathrooms are a bit small, but that's probably to be expected of an old theatre. They keep bringing in great performances and we'll keep attending!

“A classic theater with great entertainment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

As someone who grew up in Bellingham, I remember the Mt. Baker Theater as a movie theater but it's much more than that now. This classic structure from the 1930s has been completely renovated over the past 10 years to it's original spender. It's no longer a movie theater but rather a great venue for all kinds of entertainment such as comedians, singers, and all kinds of unique presentations. There is also great restaurants right around the theater in down town Bellingham.

“Interesting old theatre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

This was an interesting theatre to attend a concert in. It feels like a throw-back to the 1920's and 1930's, with old staircases and art work on the walls. Acoustics were good. The only down side was that they did not allow any photographs.
