We used to dine at Giuseppe's restaurant on Whidbey Island. Same wonderful food & service at the new location!

“Always the most amazing food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013 via mobile

We have been to here a handful of times. While it's pricey, it is the most amazing food around. Everything from the pork to the pasta,is hands down the best around in Bellingham (Ciao Thyme is my top contender but they don't serve dinner on a regular basis)

“Great Rehearsal Dinner Party”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

We celebrated a rehearsal dinner at Giuseppe's Italian Restaurant last weekend. The wait staff was excellent. They were constantly anticipating our every need. We had a choice of 4 entrees and everyone was complimentary. I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. We dined in the private dinning room with 48 people and it was very roomy and intimate. I would highly recommend Giuseppe's for your next event. I have been to Giuseppe's for dinner and happy hour and have always been impressed with the food and service.

“Off say, I hope.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Great harbour front setting (if it's hot out ask for a table outside).
Appetisers didn't come together for our group of four, mains where even more spread out.
My prawn appetiser had the same sauce as the lobster ravioli (a good server would have pointed this out).
Bonus: 2" piece of plastic in my ravioli.
Tried the veal, tough.
OK wine selection.
The service was good and the kitchen needs to pay attention.
This restaurant has potential, I hope they live up to it.

“lovely ladies you are welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

How could we refuse this invitation, so, despite our wet jackets, walking sticks, and daypacks, we returned to the restaurant that had enticed us, but which looked too nice to be graced with our damp outdoor attire. How wrong we were! We were made to feel most welcome and have returned several times since, and been greeted with warmth and kindness as we stow our packs and sticks discretely underneath the table. But kind words alone do not make for a good restaurant; this place made my recent foray to New York very second class, and it is in the quiet West Coast backwater of Bellingham, looking west over Bellingham Bay. Quite simply, Giuseppe's does it right, from the warm welcome, the friendly staff, the efficient and respectful service, to, of course, the excellent menu featuring, but not restricted to, west coast seafood. Our mussels in tomato sauce were excellent, the cream asparagus soup delicious, the beet salad cunningly constructed of yellow and red beet layers was superb, the calamari delicious, especially when the extra chili peppers we requested were promptly provided. Even the coffee was just right. We will return, and not just when another wet walk drives us inside; next time with a significant other to enjoy a leisurely meal, the lovely view, and to sample the wine list and dessert.
