Description: Boundary Bay Brewery opened in 1995 & we've been making great handcrafted beer and fresh, local food for the Bellingham community ever since! Our brewery houses a Tap Room and family-friendly Bistro, located in a restored historic 1922 warehouse in Downtown Bellingham, across from the Saturday Farmer's Market. We also have a great deck for outdoor dining and a Beer Garden where you can enjoy BBQ's and outdoor concerts in the Summer.

“Great place to go with friends!”

Great assortment of micro-beers and exceptional food, from basic burgers to lamb burgers or hummus plates. Very popular with locals.

“Tasty beers and comfort food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

If you are looking for one of Bellingham's staple place you need to try this out at least once. While I agree with earlier reviewers...the service can be slow they do make up for it with delicious craft beers and comfort food! My favorite hands down is their mac & cheese. I've tried a few other options on the menu but my fiance and I agree that is the best. Try the sampler to get a feel for their brews. The atmosphere is lively and loud, especially on a weekend.

“It's mainly about the beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Located in an old warehouse across from Bellingham's farmer's market, BBB&B is famous as one of the largest producers of hand-crafted beer in the country, and renowned for its top-notch ales, ranging from the crisp Pilsner, ESB and IPA seasonally on tap, to innovative single hops etc. The food menu trails behind this stellar record, but does offer above-average pub fare. In addition to the standard stews, sandwiches and burgers (the meat loaf sliders and lamb burgers are particularly tasty), the personal pizzas are nicely seasoned and the enchilladas and fish tacos are fresh, though better if you request additional salsa on the side. The salmon chowder and salads are quite good too as are the steamer clams. A numer of vegetarian options are available. Locally sourced meats, breads and produce are used when possible. The dinner menu is limited, but most of the lunch items are available all day. Children are permitted in the bistro, though not in the tap room and there is a pleasant deck, along with a garden where Fryday fish and BBQ is served in summer. Service is cheery and accommodating with college students supplying much of the wait personnel so it can be a hit-or-miss affair depending on who is working. The noise level can be substantial, so this is not the place for a romantic tete-a-tete, but with all those great beers to sample, who cares?

“Forgettable experience”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

We won’t be going back! My spouse and I had dinner last evening with adult children and were disappointed with the service (lackadaisical) and the food. Our meals were long in coming and when they arrived the food was cold, the roasted potatoes were old and dry, no flavor. It seemed like the food had been sitting out waiting for pick up. Overall poor pub food fare with limited imagination.

“Noisy and unkept”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

Sorry, I guess it's a great place for the younger crowds who like noise and a rather "loose" environment, but for anyone looking for a quiet place for a good lunch or dinner, this is not the place. Great for happy hour crowd.
