“Bad start, great finish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014 via mobile

Because we made a reservation at the wrong "Anthony's" our table wasn't ready. We went to the bar to wait and order drinks. There were 6 of us so we wanted to order 2 bottles of wine vs individual glasses. Bartender said we couldn't since we were moving to a table!? Since the logic of that escaped me I complained to the manager who overruled the bartender and got us our wine. She then sat us in a private room and comped us 4 amazing apps-2 fried coconut shrimp and 2 tuna sashimi/takata. Delicious. Dinners ranged from copper river salmon, to halibut, salmon/halibut combo plus salads and clam chowder. All very good. Service was top notch. They more than made up for the mis-step and our tip reflected that. Since 2 of our party keep their boat in the harbor and may be moving to Bellingham , the restaurant bought some good will

“Great Place for North West Sunday Brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

Anthony's Homeport is across the road from another Anthony's and overlooks the water in a bright and open restaurant, I had a party of eight Chinese guests and we managed to be given a round table, which was perfect and very democratic! The food was good. It started with two bowls of fresh fruit including local strawberries) and a basket of sweet bread with fancy butter. There is lots of seafood (and steak, and crepes with strawberries, french toast for the youngest guest). There looks to be a good array of wines and beers. I ate trout. which came as an enormous portion and was delicious. Two companions ate the very fresh salmon. It is moderately expensive but I think good value. My slight disappointment was that there was no Earl Gray tea and the tea water in typical American fashion was not freshly, despite the tea party si important in American history.

“Excellent meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

We went to Anthony's about 2PM for lunch. The service was great. We were seated where we could see the marina and see what was going on. The food was very good. I recommend the blacked rockfish. It was plenty of food.

“Wonderful Happy Hour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

Happy hour is a great start for an introduction to this wonderful restaurant. Cocktails are superbly executed and the wine list is oh so good! Happy hour menu is more than adequate for a lovely meal. BBQ oysters are great. Caesar Salad with Calamari is wonderful. We love this place. We wander in after a day of sailing, exhausted in our jeans and a bit disheveled to sit in the bar area or outside and everyone here is so welcoming and kind. I guess they are used to tired boaters needing adult beverages and fine food. Not a bad entree or beverage here. They get it right. Inside, outside, bar - all good. We make reservations when we want a table inside other than the bar or patio. Plenty of parking with an overflow lot just in case. Worth a detour to dine here.
