“Great Menu Items”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

My wife and I go to Olive Garden frequently and especially enjoy the lighter fare section of the menu. Our favorite dish is the Seafood Bordello, which is a low carb seafood stew with shrimp, fish and scallops in a mushroom and light tomato sauce. Excellent.

“Simple and Effective”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

My Italian heritage keeps me from ordering some of their "authentic" Italian dishes (when the waiters pronounce gnocchi as "no-chee" instead of "nee-oh-key", that's not a good sign!), but we visit occasionally to enjoy the soup and salad lunch special. Their soups are quite tasty, and we always enjoy the freshly-made salad. Their breadsticks can be a bit salty, but they're fresh and go well with the soup/salad. Service was friendly and efficient; we got prompt offers for more soup and salad, but beverages weren't topped up. Not a bad deal, and a fulfilling way to break up a day of cross-border shopping!

“Olive Garden is consistent and reliable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

There is an Olive Garden Italian-ish restaurant in almost every city around the nation. They are cookie-cutter clones that are always consistent and reliable. The Bellingham iteration is no different. The only distinguishing differences are that there is no Red Lobster nearby (big chain restaurants are discouraged by city policy) and there is always a contingent of Canadian shoppers patronizing this branch.

The cuisine is also consistent and reliable: very popular, very tasty, highly calorific, highly carb-laden, highly fat-laden, and highly salty.
This is the cardiologist's bread-and-butter (pardon the ironic reference) dream restaurant. Prices are quite fair and there is always some bargain special being offered. Just don't go here too often if longevity is one of your priorities.

As typical, the Bellingham Olive Garden is very busy. This is enhanced by its proximity to Costco, Walmart, and the Bellis Fair Mall: a huge contingent of Canadian shoppers can always be found eating here before their trek back north. Best to go here during off hours, else expect to wait a while to be seated. Once seated, the restaurant service is very quick and efficient - no doubt to facilitate turnover - but is also reliably friendly and attractive. The restaurant is kept excellently clean and presentable. Also, expect a friendly visit by the manager who will check that everything was up-to-snuff and will likely present you with a coupon for a future visit (great PR). Also, be sure to check the newspaper and other sources for valuable coupons to make the Olive Garden an even better deal.

The entrees were so good we had an amazing meal and it was under 40$ even with one glass of wine. We love the Olive Garden and look forward to eating at one soon. “Great again!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Back for our Olive Garden fix. Nothing better than the soup-salad special ($8 between 11 and 4)with the .25$ samplers of wine. Service continues to be prompt and servers are cordial and friendly. Wach for the specials!
