“Don't know much about history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

But you do learn about the area's past through the signs and buildings, local lore on gold rush and pioneering days. Set near the water, it is a charming spot for boutique shopping as well as finding sports equipment for running, biking, skiing, boarding, etc. Great place for lunch! There are several cafes with lots of creative flare in soups, salads, and sandwiches. Veggie lovers would swoon!

“Lovely restaurant and shopping district.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

If you're staying at the Chrysalis Inn & Spa, Fairhaven is a short stroll and worth the calories! The streets are lined with friendly people and offer several dining and bar options.

“Fairhaven on Saturday night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

There are small and large shops ... a book store that is 'out of this world'. Across the street is a specialty toy shop. They have a square with grass and on Saturday evenings they show an outdoor movie, which is always packed with families on the grass with blankets, pillows and just having fun. A wonderful part of Bellingham, WA which if you are ever in the area you must visit.

“Lovely Village area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

So glad we drove over to this area; came back several different times. So pretty and quaint. Dog friendly for those with pets along on the trip. Stopped in to Skylark Café for a drink and to listen to the jazz on Saturday evening. Such a nice area.
