“Lovely Village area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

So glad we drove over to this area; came back several different times. So pretty and quaint. Dog friendly for those with pets along on the trip. Stopped in to Skylark Café for a drink and to listen to the jazz on Saturday evening. Such a nice area.

“A great historic area to shop or relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

This is a wonderful little area to walk, explore or just relax. Shopping is good and so are the places to eat.

“Cute Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

There was an amazing trail to get there along the water. We parked about a mile out and walked the trail because we wanted to enjoy the water. Once there, there were cute shops and delicious pizza place. The trail is definitely something to do if you are in the area. You can bike, jog, or walk the trail.

“Fairhaven=Charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

A week in the summer in Fairhaven is charm personified. Great book store, cute streets, awesome shoreline walks along the pier, great donuts, good beer, rolfing at the farmers market, and good people.
If you need a getaway from Seattle, this is your place. Less than 2 hours to Seattle, less than 2 hours to awesome hiking at Mt Baker with snow in July.
Don't pass this by, and definitely choose Fairhaven over Bellingham.

“No Chains!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

You won't find a chain restaurant or store anywhere her. Outdoor movies in the summer, wonderful trails to explore. Friendly people, great food, and nothing is the same as any other town.
