“Too much quaint old town fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

Fairhaven is the lovely and renovated old-town area of Bellingham. It is filled with quaint shops, good eateries, pleasant walking, is near gorgeous old neighborhoods and a seaside park, and more. There is no down side with the exception of parking challenges if there is a big special event going on. But it will be work walking a couple of blocks, if you have to. Enjoy!

“Charming little town!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

This lovely tiny historic district has several interesting places to visit. Many shops, a delightful bookstore and the nice walk by the boardwalk along the sea. You can enjoy coffee, wine, ice cream and a couple of restaurants. Especial attention to be directed to the fantastic little shop of olive oils and vinegars from around the globe. Impossible to miss this neat town!

“Great shops in interesting neighborhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

We visited on a Sunday morning before going to Larrabee State Park on Chuckanut Drive. Many shops were not open, but we had fun browsing the ones that were. Found several nice items to purchase. We visited the nearby terminal for the Alaska Ferry as well.

“''Old is good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

Tons of shops, old and new, this is a fun place to spend a few hours - something for everyone! Some of the shops are not open on Sunday, which is a real bummer, but really enjoyed the ones we did get to go in!

Truly something for everyone: unique bookstore, variety of restaurants, green space, plenty of shopping and walking trails.
