Saw this cottage in new edition of Best Places to Kiss in the Northwest. Decided to give it a try and loved it! There was a view everywhere you turned....and it was private, quiet. Breakfast was a delight with flowers, little smiling pansies on our plates. Took the rowboat out and enjoyed a bottle of wine while rowing around upon our arrive...was a wonderful place to getaway. Hosts were most gracious and did not intrude upon our space or privacy. We will return!

Squalicum Lake Cottage is a wonderful private hideaway where you can relax and rid yourself of the stresses of everyday living. Drive down a lovely lane and there in the tall evergreen trees, amongst flowering shrubs and millions of white daisies is the cottage. It takes your breath away when you see it's warmth begging you to come in. Our host's were wonderful, the breakfast brought in a basket is so beautifully presented it's hard to stop looking at and eat, but eating is the best part, the wonderful food just melts in your mouth. Our rooms were so tastefully appointed and comfortable, we have gone back again to experience the comfort it all affords. From the luxurious queen bed, to the heavenly bath, it's all there for you to enjoy. There is even a small boat they let you use to float on the lake, the birds and even deer will greet you when you arise in the morning and there is nothing lovelier than a sunrise on the lake.
