“Urban Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

Wow, there aren't words or pictures to describe the beauty of this park. It was way more than I could have ever expected. With waterfalls, trails, a walking bridge, and charming forest creatures, Whatcom Falls Park stole our hearts. We will be back any chance we get and highly recommend it to anyone. Bellingham appreciates how important parks are to the spirit of a city so thank you to the city for taking care of its beautiful surroundings and sharing them with visitors!

“Great park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

I often visit Whatcom Falls park when I have some time to kill or just need to get out of the house. The waterfall and bridge are beautiful. The rest of the trails are fairly easy and clearly marked. A great place to spend time outside.

“Beautiful Park!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

Such an amazing park located minutes from downtown Bellingham. Definitely worth a visit. Be sure to take a stroll across the bridge built by the WPA in the 1930s.

“Great hiking/walking/picnicking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

This is a marvelous place to take a stroll. It can be reached from downtown via the Railroad trail.
In the summer time it is a wonderful way to spend the day.

“Magical trees, waterfalls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013 via mobile

We live close to this park and walk/ride the trails often. The stately Douglas Firs, cascading creek, waterfalls, bird watching, and fish hatchery creates enough interest for everyone. When you feel like you need a respite from the city of subdued excitement, take a serene walk in Whatcom Falls.
