“Great park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

I often visit Whatcom Falls park when I have some time to kill or just need to get out of the house. The waterfall and bridge are beautiful. The rest of the trails are fairly easy and clearly marked. A great place to spend time outside.

“Beautiful Park!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

Such an amazing park located minutes from downtown Bellingham. Definitely worth a visit. Be sure to take a stroll across the bridge built by the WPA in the 1930s.

“Great hiking/walking/picnicking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

This is a marvelous place to take a stroll. It can be reached from downtown via the Railroad trail.
In the summer time it is a wonderful way to spend the day.

“Magical trees, waterfalls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013 via mobile

We live close to this park and walk/ride the trails often. The stately Douglas Firs, cascading creek, waterfalls, bird watching, and fish hatchery creates enough interest for everyone. When you feel like you need a respite from the city of subdued excitement, take a serene walk in Whatcom Falls.

“Something for everyone.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013

While I tend to spend a majority of my time in this park on the West End (by Bayview Cemetery) because of their offleash dog walking area, my kids enjoy going to the duck pond and giving them crusts of bread or playing on either of the two kids play areas (toddler & bigger kid area) as well as playing in the green fields or eating a snack on the benches. The park is right on the bus line so it is easy to get to from downtown. The park has many walking trails both in open areas and more wooded areas and connects different parts of town together from the West end of Lake Whatcom and Bloedel Donovan Park to the cemetery and the rest of the trail system. Great flat trails for bike riding and lots of great places to walk with a stroller, kids or dogs. The falls are lovely too and boast some amazing fall colors especially in the cemetery.
