4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

I have a group of friends and we have stayed her for 2 or 3 nights each year for the past 6 years. It has been renovated in the past year and the rooms are very nice. The only downfall is the dramatic price increase, about 40% from previous years. It's still a good clean place to stay with easy access to downtown Seattle and surrounding areas.

Dear BlueMachine367,

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel!

I am happy to hear that you and your friends enjoyed our newly renovated property. Our rates have increased slightly over the last year or so, but we are still one of the best values in the Seattle area.

Thank you for staying with us. We look forward to welcoming you back the next time your travels bring you to the area.

This is a real nice place to stay if you are visiting Seattle. More times than not and with a little advance planning as well, you can secure a room here for a nice price and leave a few bucks in your jeans for dinner.

This hotel is always clean and the complimentary breakfasts offer a wide range of eatables to begin your day.

The indoor pool and hot tub are rarely crowded. The computer public area is expansive and inviting and also includes a large TV screen with room to sit a number of people on 2-3 nice couches.

Location-wise, this property is close to Seattle and even closer to Redmond which is wonderful community to visit in itself.

Fred Meyer is an easy 5 minute drive from the hotel if you need to pick up any snacks too.

I highly recommend this property if you're looking for an affordable, clean, well run place with a friendly staff to help you with anything you may need during your stay.

We booked this hotel merely by chance hoping it to be good. Well, we were so pleased with the staff, and service. Lovely quiet area. Hotel very clean and breakfast more than adequate. This is a step above most Fairfield Inns in our opinion. I would like to mention that all staff we came in contact with were helpful and friendly. Ranjani was instrumental in helping us obtain a better rate with more benefits to suit our specific situation. She happened to hear that we were leaving on a cruise and informed us that she thought she could help us with a better rate with transportation to the pier. She did just that. We so appreciated her offering to go above and beyond for us. We would highly recommend this hotel and would go back again. Thanks to all.

Spent 2 nights there while visitng family in Seattle. Seems a little above the normal Fairfield Inn. The breakfast was the standard Fairfield fare. Breafast sandwiches for the microwave, various cereals, typical marriott make you own waffles., juisces & various muffins & breads. All the staff were friendly and helpful. My only problem with the hotel was it is located on the wrong side of Lake Washington for visiting in Seattle. Both bridges over the lake are now toll and if you are from our of town with a rental car, you will get a separate bill for each crossing for $3.23 (very high to start with) sent to the rental company. The rental companies then bill it to your credit card with a $20 fee added (varies among the rental companies). We crossed the bridges 4 times in 2 days which makes for steep toll charges. That is the oby reason for my low rating for location. if you are visiting in Bellevue it is an excellant location.

Dear Levon M,

Thank you for taking a time to review our hotel.

I am sorry to hear you were caught off guard with the tolls on the bridge to Seattle. There are actually 2 bridges to Seattle. 520, which is closest to the hotel, charges a variable toll each way. The other bridge, I-90, does not have a toll. Depending on the time of day, sometimes it makes sense to pay the toll for 520. If traffic is not bad, I-90 is just a couple miles away.

I am glad to hear you otherwise enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for choosing Fairfield Inn & Suites.

Business travelers experienced with Fairfield Inn properties will hardly recognize this one as compared to others. It is a cut above the usual Fairfield Inn. It is not opulent in any way, it's still a Fairfield Inn with the usual trappings, but certainly cleaner and friendlier than most.

There are many good dining options within a 10 minute drive, there is easy access to a major road.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the south side, first floor for easy vehicle access.

We always stay in this hotel when visiting the Seattle area. It is always clean, looks new, has a good breakfast and the price is right. The breakfast was make-your-own waffles, microwavable breakfast sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, milk, 3 juices, hot cocoa, coffee, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, muffins...I'm sure there were a few other things I'm forgetting. Anyway, it was quality food that tasted good. The fridge in the room was nice to put our drinks from the trip in. The room was very clean and current. We were put on the first floor right across from the door to breakfast so we asked to switch. It was no problem, they changed us to the 3rd floor and we were good. We parked in the back of the hotel which was closer to our room and went in an access door on the 2nd floor close to our room. I will be booking another room there on our next trip. Thank you Fairfield! It's nice to know there's always a hotel we can depend on.

The staff were friendly, warm, and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The fitness room had good cardio machines and free weights.

I enjoyed our stay and I cannot say enough great things about the staff at the front desk. They make you feel right at home.

The hotel is in a great area and is less than 20 min. to Seattle center area and about 20 min. to the Seattle Airport.

There was plenty to chose from at the breakfast buffet. The only complaint is that there was so many people when we went down for breakfast that all the tables were full and there was a 20 min. wait for the waffle machine. The breakfast staff hid due to so many frustrated and unhappy people. By the time I got my waffle they were out of syrup and I could not find any staff to bring me some :(

Overall we had a great experience at this hotel and I would definitely stay here again when in the area.
