“Great beer selection, ordinary pub grub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Harbour Public House is in a great location, with a great view of the water. The beer selection is very good; the food is typical pub grub--nothing special.

“Best clam chowder ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

I normally don't rate restaurants but this deserved it. Wife and I stopped in for lunch on our way to Seattle. I had the best clam chowder I've ever had, amazing! (And make sure to get the potatoes, some weirdo next to me was saying not to as it's too filling, huh? Even the waitress thought he was nuts). Great local beer selection also and take a quick walk around the pier afterwords.

“Best oyster shooters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

This place has a great bar atmosphere, lively and inviting. Plenty of beers on tap and a few local ones. Oyster shooters were served in a shot glass with a dab of cocktail sauce and a plump tasty oyster.

“Real English Pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

The fish n chips was very good. The nachos are way more food than 1 person should eat. My only complaint was an avocado means a whole avocado on top, which was hard to eat. This is a historical pub and you can really feel it from the inside. There is an elevator that brings the food up from the kitchen which was pretty cool. This pub gets very crowded so you may want to call ahead. They have outdoor seating for a sunny day. The strawberry rhubarb martini was great and they also have bacon bloody mary's. We weren't able to try it but they do a traditional English Sunday roast. We took home a bar mat (towel) as a souvenir since we haven't seen those in a pub outside of the UK.

“Enjoy the scenery before dinner or walk it off after.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

All I had was fish and chips but they were delicious! I was tempted to try the pecan vegan patty. Maybe next time. The wait staff, at least our pretty one, was too busy to be called attentive: we had to ask for items multiple times. However, the food was good, the big booths were conducive to easy conversation with your dinner companions and, as anyone who has been there knows, the wait to get in is rewarding -- you can stroll the flower lined paths down to the water. It's all very pleasant. Everyone liked what they ordered and happily ate too much.
