“Best Western PLUS Bainbridge Island Suites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

I had a great stay at the Best Western PLUS Bainbridge Island Suites. The staff were friendly and helpful. I needed an extras mattress one night and they promptly got it for me. The room was very roomy. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was updated with tile and nice counter tops. The only thing I would change about the rooms, was to have the sink outside of the toilet and tub area. It would be nice to have had a hot tub.

seriously good service, great breakfast, coffee always available top drawer staff & courtesy. Would stay there again and would recommend your accommodations to friends and Family. My oldest daughter just moved to Bainbridge Island so I may stay with you again. Why should it take me 200 characters to let you know this ? I would drop that requirement.

Stayed there two nights in March 2014. Spacious room, good rates, very clean. For a change, the breakfast was really good with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt and cereal offerings. As is usual in the Northwest, the coffee is good. Granted, only four rooms were booked and it was very quiet, but we were quite happy with our stay. My only negative would be that the parking lot under the bldg. is a little tough in which to maneuver because of the multiple support columns. Would stay there again.

Great location, large room, excellent amenities! I could go on, but the list would be long. You will not be disappointed. We stayed here on the last night of our trip to the Seattle area and Olympic National Park. It was the perfect ending to our vacation.

The room was nice, clean, and roomy. The toilet wouldn't flush, though. The lobby breakfast area is poorly planned (only 3 tables for a 60 room motel!) like the architect went, "Oh yeah, you need a breakfast lounge. Well, we'll stick it in this space over the stairs and hope not all the guests want to eat at the same time." Nice to have a gated, underground parking garage. Noisy street in front, so traffic/street-cleaning/landscaper sounds most of the time. And, it seems to be poorly-insulated, for outside sounds were louder than they ought to be. In the off-season (Feb.), we paid $160+$30tx for King bed. We've been in nicer, quieter, more private vacation rentals at that nightly price this time of year -- even also on Bainbridge. Priced way higher than they should be, and we are Best Western card members. Convenient to grocery and a few restaurants, but we'll stay elsewhere next time.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the street. Perhaps that'd help a little with the traffic noise. It w...

This was our third stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located and just a short walk to downtown. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Some furniture is beginning to show its age but it is still comfortable. The indoor parking is very convenient. The staff is excellent! The breakfasts are good but the eating area is limited and crowded.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

We just stayed and found the usual good value for a Best Western. Nothing fancy but a spacious, clean, quiet room with good beds. A big flat screen TV with cable and free wifi. In addition to a king bed, there was a couple of cushioned chairs at the other end of a large rectangular room.

The bathroom was large but basic.

For breakfast, it was the usual make-your-own waffles with hot plate eggs, bacon and sausages.
Obviously the usual cold offerings as well.

The staff was friendly and efficient and we were checked in/out quickly and without any fuss.

The location is 1 mile up Highway 305 from Winslow. Either a $5 cab ride from the ferry or a 15 minute walk up the hill. If walking be a little careful because you are walking on the shoulder without any formal separation from traffic. At night it has no lighting and you will want a flashlight if your walking. It's new and well lit and easy to find.

We like Winslow and Bainbridge Island and we'd recommend this hotel as a good value.
