“Horrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

I had the misfortune of staying here two times with in nine days on a bus trip with a large group. The carpets in and outside the rooms were dirty. The room had stains on the walls. Sheets were full of bleach. The bleach smell was unbearable. Furniture had stains. I did not see any bugs in my rooms. However I slept both nights with the lights on. The only positive thing I can say is the water was hot.

Stayed here twice on a recent bus trip.September 29th and October 3th 2013.Stopped here a few years ago and it has deteriorated. Our room appeared clean but shabby. The worst was the hallway to room with walls and baseboards scuffed up.
Some updates done to bathroom but counter space on sink much too small for 2 adults.Rug passed its prime.Old style bedspreads.
Breakfast room too small for bus passengers. At least 2 buses there and telling you to come down at 7:30 or 8 isn't practical if you have been awake since 5.Breakfast sandwiches and muffins were cold and some still frozen.
There is a restaurant across parking lot "Sagebrush" which is dated but food and service were fine.
If traveling by car would look elsewhere.

Hotel is dated and need of an upgrade. Seemed to be clean. Low water pressure in shower. Would not pay more than about $50 per nite. It was right off of interstate so it was convenient to gas and resteraunts. This is more the caliber of a Econo Lodge.

Where to begin? 2-inch long centipedes or dingy linens? Tissue thin sheets? How about people partying ALL night long in the hall outside our room? Never again. The desk clerk was uncooperative and downright snippy.

This appears to be an older Sleep Inn. Our first floor room was adequate with two beds. The bathroom was tiny, so small in fact that the sink was in an alcove in the bedroom. The shower was a small rounded prefab unit. The shower head was low so that I, at 5'7" just fit under it - anyone taller would have to stoop. Note that only shampoo is provided in the rooms so, if you use conditioner, you should bring your own. The room was fairly clean as were the linens and towels. Plenty of pillows, although they were the small, square ones. The room furniture seemed very new and was in very good condition with the exception of the chairs. The rolling computer chair was in disrepair and would not stop when you leaned back so you felt like you were falling. We simply used the stationery chair at the desk area instead. The desk area was spacious and good for working. The wi-fi worked very well. The common areas of the hotel look worn and tired. Worn and patched carpeting, open ceiling holes, ceiling stains, and some of the door locks appeared damaged and had special instructions taped to the door. Ours worked fine but the elderly couple across from us had trouble opening theirs. The room had a LOT of stains and scuff marks on the wall and really needs a good painting. There was a standalone wardrobe but no closet. The breakfast area was small and breakfast was minimal. Cold breakfast sandwiches to microwave and some breads and cereals. We passed and picked up food on the road. The area is quiet - we had a nice view of a field and the mountains out our back window. This and one other hotel are isolated at the end of a small dead end street so you will have to drive in toward town for most things - it's not far. Be careful when exiting the hotel street. You must exit onto a blind curve and we were afraid of being hit by an oncoming car due to the lack of visibility. Due to the location, the age of this hotel, and the lack of breakfast options, we would probably stay elsewhere on our next visit.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back have a view of the mountains.

This motel is a convenient place for an overnight stop when traveling. There is a steakhouse just across the parking lot, no need to drive to eat after driving all day. The room was clean, including the bathroom. The bed was comfortable
and they had good pillows. It was a little pricey compared to other places we stayed on this trip but in line with other places in the area. You are more or less captive here, not many choices in the area. Breakfast was pretty much toast and yogurt. We travel through this area a lot and will stay here again.

Hotel location was great next to steak house. Beds were nice and soft. Breakfast was run of the mill but the eating area was too small. When back in the area I plan to stay at this location again. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean and well designed.
