We made a fortunate selection when we picked this hotel from the Marriott website. It is more a European botique hotel than a chain lodging Our room featured a very comfortable king size bed, a modern pastel sectional, a double bathroom with glass doors, and an excellent shower; along with a modern work area, free wifi, micro and fridge. The room had a fresh clean smell and a window that opens. The entire staff went out of thier way to make our stay enjoyable, especially Dean and Terrell: including checkin/out, complimentary breakfast and even a shuttle to local restaurants. The breakfast room utililized pastel translucent floor to ceiling room dividers to add a unique ambience. The market featured beer and wine as well as the usual soft drinks and some guests used the breakfast area to enjoy delivered take out dinner from local restaurants. instead of thier room (not bad). This hotel has listened to its customers and provided a traveler friendly facility. Convienient to the metro it is also our perfect stop for the auto train at exit 159. Although Marriott calls the location Potomac mills it is a good hike from the mall, and is nestled between a Marriott Residence and Courtyard. Especially with sr and aaa discounts it is also a great value
our room was on the 4th floor
