We stayed here recently for 4 nights and after getting upgraded to a larger room--the first room smelled of cigarette smoke and was very tiny--it was very comfortable. Lovely, soft linens on the bed, beautifully appointed bathroom, nice iron and board (business travelers understand that issue) and for us, very quiet mid week. The Dancing Goat has a nice menu for breakfast as well as dinner with large servings but a bit pricey for breakfast. The only issues were the towels were quite shabby with lots of frays on all the bath towels--we told the front desk--and we did not agree that one is automatically charged for the safe even without use. We stay in many hotels and have never been charged for the safe unless we chose to use it. Since we were here on business, we will most likely stay at another hotel that includes breakfast as 2 juices, 1 bowl of oatmeal and 1 tea at $19 with tip, seems steep to ask a client to pay for. For a romantic weekend--absolutely worth it!
