“A little piece of Heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

I've been here several times and it has never disappointed. Wait staff is exceptionally nice but not annoying. Every single thing I've tried here has been phenomenal. From the special ravioli to clam linguine, Vegetarian Lasagna and the Manicotti. Also the Lobster Bisque. It is all great. I will be back this week to try another dish. My goal is to try every single thing on the menu, the food is so fabulous!!

“Incredible Lunch on our Way Home to Florida”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

Often when we drive back home to Southwest Florida after sharing the Holidays with our northern family, we divert to Winchester to share lunch with a friend and business associate who resides there. On New Years Eve day, before facing the rigors of truck traffic on I-81 South, we met our friend at Violino Ristorante Italiano, on her recommendation, where we shared a remarkably liesurely and enjoyable lunch; so much so that we were still raving about the experience when we arrived home late on New Years Day. This is a restaurant that exceeds the exceptional in every way, food quality, service, decor, atmosphere, and value. The owners may have well achieved perfection. It is not inexpensive, but it is still a wonderful value, providing everything to justify the cost of a meal. I strongly recommend the experience of lunch (or dinner) at Violino Ristorante Italiano. We shall be back again when we are next in Winchester.

“New Year's Eve”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

We had to take an early reservation 5:30 so they could have a reserved special dinner at 9. Food was beyond excellent, our waiter was superb, no hurrying to get us through. The violinists from the college were a nice touch. Highly recommend.

“Great innovative foods”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

My husband and I have been enjoying Franco's food for years. We even had our wedding luncheon here. They do classical Itslian and new twists based on what is seasonally available. Franco and Marcella are personable and family oriented; you will feel like a part of their family when you join them for a meal.

“Our Italian Solstice Tradition”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

My husband and I have been going to Violino's every solstice as part of our anniversary celebration. The food is fantastic, and the chefs really are creative in terms of the specials. If you tell them it's a special occasion, it's possible the chef may come out with complimentary champagne and sing to you!
