“Hidden Gem in Winchester”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

Truly Excellent! Fresh and simple yet tasty food can be found at The Butcher Station. Best seafood in Winchester along with high quality meats ensure that there is something for everyone. Go during happy hour (3 to 6 pm) for appetizer specials but definitely stay for the main courses.

“excellent quality and great cooking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

Butcher Station uses amazing local fresh food, and Sandy cooks everything to perfection. Tonight we had perfectly cooked very fresh scallops with kale and garlic, zucchini and yellow squash and blackened flounder, both entres were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chocolate cheese cake was rich and light and very tasty. Good wine and beer selection. The ambiance of the place could stand a bit of TLC, especially the bathroom and storage area hallway to the bathroom. The service is good, but it is the owners Sandy and Jimmy who are providing wonderful food at reasonable prices. Oh, the yellow tomato cold frothy summer soup was close to divine....Go to the Butcher Station you will be surprised and fed very well.

“Affordable and Thoughtful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

Just discovered this place today. It's a sort of combined butcher/restaurant/cafe. Attention to detail was fantastic and my dry-aged burger was delicious (and only six dollars with fries). I think the guy ground my beef right after I made my order. What a find!

“Local-sourced fresh food creations equal yummy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2011 via mobile

Been eating here off and on since they opened. They are a market/butcher shop and a restaurant. They care about the food. They get their beef, etc locally and it's dry-aged. Great big lunch sandwiches and burgers with their own baked bread. Highly recommended.
