“Best Brew and Burger for you buck!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

Having spent more time here in Winchester since last Summer, Brewbaker's has taken the place of Union Jack's as my (our) first choice " go to" place to enjoy a decent meal and warm friendly atmosphere. The menu is whimsical and unique enough to encourage you to ask questions such as "what is swamp cheese?", which happens to be a rich and perfectly delicious take on queso cheese dip with better than bar average chips. We have ordered the beer battered fish and chips several times and will continue to do so, the batter is light and the fish always moist. Soup season is here and we tried the Pea Soup last weekend, it was a bit salty by 7:30pm when we were served, but still very good when washed down with a cold beer. Burgers are consistantly great as is the service each and every time we stop in. Even as an outsider, you can sense a welcoming community spirit amongst staff and patron's alike.

“DID NOT live up to the good/excellent reviews!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Very different experience than most other patron's reviews! Shrimp bisque--- gross!! Beer-battered chicken strips--- nasty! New England Clam Chowder supposed to be homemade--- doubt it! Other than the blackened tuna sandwich, which had a good flavor & cooked to my temperature perfectly, the rest of our meals were just "ok". Husband had a local beer that he liked and our server was very nice but the few things we enjoyed about our lunch were not enough to bring us back to eat here next time.

“What a Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

About my 10th visit here. So hood every time I travel through Winchester I stop here. You have to try the Swamp Cheese. It's great as well as everything else. Five the shrimp and chicken pasta a try too.

“Nice Pub, Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I stopped by midafternoon for a burger and a beer and was greeted cordially, given my choice of seating and served promptly with my burger and fries. The TV/Music is not too loud and the pub atmosphere is comfortable and spacious. I would imagine it gets kind of packed on Friday or Saturday nites, but it deserves to be and outdoor seating looks like a pleasent option.

“We'll be back...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

First time we've been here - wonderful. Service was good, nice bar area - felt like a real pub. Nice tap beer selections. Had the "Swamp Dip"? - spinach and pepper jack cheese with freshly made tortilla chips. Most excellent! Comes with home made salsa too. Nice bite. Wife had chicken cheese steak sandwich. Very good. I had a cheese burger - cooked to order. Fries were good also good and fresh. We'll definitely add this to our regular stops. I would recommend this place!
