The best thing to mention about this hotel is the low price and its location, which is on a main strip in Williamsburg, just a stone's throw from the outlet shopping center and less than ten minutes from Colonial Williamsburg.

Our room showed its age, but was clean and spacious and included most of the basic amenities I've come to expect in a hotel, but nothing really above and beyond. Wifi was very spotty.

Pool was closed for the season. Gym included treadmill, recumbent bike, multistation weight machine, and sauna. Towels are not available in the gym, so remember to bring them with you from the room.

Continental breakfast is very very basic, including mini muffins, danish, toast, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice. Fine if you just want a quick bite and then get on with your day. Otherwise Mickey D's is right next door and there are any number of pancake houses further down the road.

The staff was friendly, recommending places to eat the evening when we checked in.

Throughout the property are hints of its former glory, such as an unused ballroom on the second floor, nonfunctional jacuzzi tubs in guest bathrooms, etc. Think of the potential if someone were to invest in the place.

The bathroom was the only clean room. The bedroom rug was filthy. The bedspreads were ripped with big holes in them. Our blankets had burn holes in them and we were suppose to be in a non-smoking room which wreaked of smoke. The elevator was dirty. It looked like someone spit on the door and this was not cleaned until 4 days later. The hotel advertises an indoor pool which is quite cool for swimming in the winter time, but the pool was closed until Memorial Day. DUUUH!!!!! Will NEVER stay here again. Mc Donalds was in the front of the hotel and you could hear the outside speaker at 6:00 in the morning as if it were in your room.

Room Tip: Don't Stay Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
