“OK no frills resort”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

We stayed here last week of August 2014 on a timeshare exchange. My family of four had a two bedroom unit on the top floor. The unit was very clean and well appointed: two bathrooms each with a jacuzzi style tub, full kitchen, washer/dryer, three flatscreen tv's in the unit, free wi-fi, nice sized balcony (overlooking the back side woods). The master bedroom had a king sized bed, but the second bedroom had two very small beds. The master bathroom had no shelves or storage area, but the second bathroom had a huge storage cabinet (??) The unit was a lock-out, and you could hear every word coming from the adjacent unit, which was very annoying.

The property consisted of a cluster of 4 story buildings (with elevators) around a shared parking lot with the pool central to all of the buildings. There was plenty of parking. The pool was small, no hot tub. A tiny exercise room was adjacent to the pool.

Overall the resort was clean and the staff friendly. But there is not a whole lot going on at this resort. They are building an indoor pool and activity center down the hill from the main buildings that should be opening soon, but that felt like a separate area, unconnected to the main section. A bit of a walk away.

If you are looking for a resort with amenities and things to do on site with kids, this is probably not the place - there are much nicer resorts in Williamsburg.

Pros:
Great location, right off 199, Richmond Road, and Moorestown Road.
Nice unit

Cons:
Small pool and no other amenities
Rooms lack sound-proofing

Room Tip: We always request a top floor to avoid the noise of footsteps/ jumping kids above us, but we still h...

The area that this resort is located in is very beautiful and peaceful. Lots of plants and trees, as well as a gazebo in the centre and a nice fountain in the front. It's very nice and private.
There is only an outdoor public pool that opens until 10pm, but it is nicely lit and warm, and they play music. If only there was an indoor pool for when the weather is bad or for the colder days, but it is perfect for sunny, summer days. There is also no hot tub.
The suites are super nice and look clean and brand new. I often questioned their choice of furniture and pattern/colour matching, but that doesn't affect the overall cleanliness and comfort that this place has.
We had everything we needed accommodated for, and it was very clean, so I would definitely say I enjoyed my stay here.

We enjoyed a week at the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Williamsburg Resort, the staff are extremely friendly and their customer service is excellent. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and this was beautiful, everything was really clean and spotless and we had more than enough space for all of us, the pool was fine for us, it never got to busy and the resort itself was near to all the major attractions that we wanted to see in Williamsburg and surrounding areas, I would not hesitate recommending this resort.

As Holiday Inn property owners my husband and I had a very wonderful stay at this newly renovated resort. We had a 2 bedroom unit and it was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with even a washer/dryer. The king bed was very comfortable to sleep in. There were 2 bathrooms both was spa jets to help relax tired muscles after walking all day. Pool was small but they are in the process of building a new complex with an indoor and outdoor pool bowling alley and a market place. This resort was in a secluded abd quiet area but very close to everything. The staff was great and staying here for a week really made our first visit to Williamsburg relaxing and memorable! Thank you!

We just returned from Williamsburg from a family vacation. The resort was very nice and extremely clean. The staff was friendly and helpful upon check. They are also knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Our family stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom (1 king-2 twin) which was big and new.
The unit had a nice balcony with a washer and dryer. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was not far from anything we wanted to do. We had an excellent stay and would definitely return.

The holiday Inn resort is a nice and quiet place to spend a week. It is close to the Colonial village. Shopping is not far either. The rooms are on the high end and spacious. the kitchens are fully equipped. Above all the staff was wonderful. You will not find a lot to do in the resort itself. There is a small pool and that's about it. However there's lot to do the the area. You will not get bored. I found the WIFI was a bit iffy. We would all lost connectivity every few minutes. So it was very hard to plan our days.

We stayed only for 4 days, but thoroughly enjoyed(2 kids and my wife). Clean surroundings. Don't forget to Visit the Williamsburgh Pottery nearby, its not just pottery making. I might go for a longer vacation to this property next time.
