“What a Fun Cruise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2005

I stumbled on this cruise after making a wrong turn out of the Jamestown Settlement parking lot (LOL!). We had a fun ride for about 1.25 hours, with Captain Bill, historian Bill Snyder and 1st Mate Will, an expert on the wildlife in the area. Will and Bill give some fasinating information about Jamestown Island and the wildlife and history of the area. It's a reasonably priced cruise with lots to see. They will rent you binoculars (for $1) so you can see the birds and the eagle nests. They also dredge the floor during the ride and check their crab boxes during the tour, so we get to see what's in the water as well as on the island. It's a fun, interactive and very different experience and a great way to spend a beautiful summer day on the water.
